Yep..it's ME on here! Grrr.....

Jodi, I hope you get your Joe's Crab Shack this weekend. Bill & I have never had very good luck there. I had it suggested that we go to an oriental buffet near our house. Now, their crab legs are great...and VERY within most people's price range. They just have them on the buffet now on Friday & Saturdays. A couple can eat there for ~$20. Can't beat that  with all you can eat crab legs..yummm!!! It you want to meet somewhere else for dinner, that would be great...but with the service & food & price of Joe's, there is no way I'd be able to talk Bill into going there. I am hoping that I'll be able to be rescheduled for next week, but I won't know anything at all until tomorrow. After I go to the hemophilia center tomorrow, I'll put out another note letting everyone know. When I do have it, it'll be at the St. V's in Carmel. Sherri

Jodi, The adress for The New Century China Buffet is: 8143 Pendleton Pike, Lawrence (it's 'Lawrence' although it's just a few blocks from our house..lol). Since Bill & I couldn't seem to agree as to which way would be easiest for you to get from there to here (it was figuring out the best route to get from Crawfordsville that threw us..not how to get to the restaurant...lol), you may want to look it up on Yahoo maps. If you & Matt plan on coming there for your Last Supper on Saturday, post it here so the rest of us can join you guys..k? Sherri

Dear Sherri,  I am so sorry dearheart, I know how bad you wanted to get the surgery over with. But, I think knowing about your blood count is good and you can fix it {I THINK} You will always be in my prayers anyway like all my OH family. We know things happen for a reason or at leased that what kept telling every single time I got re addmitted. Gail, Thanks sweetie. I know there's a reason for it..even if I don't understand what that reason is. I know that there are ways that they can get the white cells up...like when people have to have chemo, they do some kind of treatment to bring the white cells up beforehand. I guess I'll find out tomorrow what is next. Ah well..we are all getting some medical lessons here, huh? lol. huggs... Sherri

My dear Sherri, I am glad that they are doing something now. I would much rather have you wait, even though it ruins the nerves, so that you will be able to go through this surgery without any problems. You have had more than your share of them already and you don't need anymore that is for sure. My prayers remain with you that they find the problem, get it solved and everything done so you can get on with the wonderful life you have.

Brenda, Thank you. I've had such luck for awhile now that when they came into the room and let us know what was going on, we just kinda shrugged our shoulders and had the 'yep, it figures' attitude. LOL! I am mainly concerned about WHY the counts were low. It may be something as simple as an vitamin asorption issue..so...we'll see. Please continue to say a little prayer for me. I definately could use them..as can my husband.. Sherri

Today just must have not been the day for you to have your surgery then. I know you are bound to be upset, but there is a reason for everything.  Keep the spirits up while waiting for the test results being back again. At least you can enjoy your time without your little wound-vac for now then. Hang in there!
