Friday,... woohoo!

Good morning, uhhhh no afternoon. It is now going on 4 in the afternoon. I am running late as you can tell. Had a meeting this afternoon with the Pastor. I told him flat out how I felt after the Ad Council meeting a couple of weeks ago and how I was feeling about him also. It seems that by the time he went home he felt the same way about me as I did him. It is funny how 2 people can come out of a meeting and get 2 totally different things from the same conversation. Well, 2 weeks ago I planned on either never stepping back into my church or giving up all of my positions and today I walked out with chairing another committee. I am not sure how things happen but I would rather have the growth committee than any of the others that I chair. lol I came home and got Bill off to work and I am so happy that it is Friday because I wanted him home so bad. I miss him when he leaves for work. I guess I am getting into one of those weird moods of mine again.  I sat and watched the soap opera that my mom got me to watching a gazillion years ago and I ended up waking up 40 minutes after it went off. I missed about the last 10-15 minutes of it. It seems the older I get the more comfortable I get in my recliner. lol I heard the the 50's are the new 40's but I don't recall falling asleep in the recliner 10-15 years ago!!!!!!  This week-end I am going to do some cleaning out of things around here. I cleaned out some totes the other day of clothes and I have a big bag of clothes to take to goodwill. It seems like the more I clean out my closet the more there is to get rid of. I didn't think I had so many clothes. Now I wonder why I always said that I never had anything to wear. lol I have gotten rid of 4 big bags that I can't wear anymore.  Speaking of clothes. I got my first pair of pants from the "regular" clothes department and not the full figure one. Then Bill's cousin saw me for the first time in a long time and said that she thought I was in a 18-20. I automatically said of course I wasn't that much smaller but sure enough I tried on one of the pairs of dress pants that a friend gave in a size 20 and low and behold they fit. Now all I have to do is hem them and they are already a petite. How long pants get when you are short and have no legs!!! lol I better get going. I am going to work around here some but not to much. I am saving all of the fun things for this week-end. Yeah right!!! I will chat later on. Have a great night everyone.
