info bout me

hey everybody i know how wonderful everyone is in here so uplifting and just overall sweet!
i think some of you know the crap i've had to go through with getting my surgery.
(recap) been going to deaconess liv lite program since may of 07, have had all the required classes in, psych evaluation done, just having trouble mantaining my weight loss.
so i've made an appointment for a one on one with the nutritionist there. the nazi as i call her. maybe after explaining to her whats going on with me she can fast track me to the optifast part. or something i just dont know

Maybe you should consider trying another hospital and dr. Sounds like you are really getting the run around!!

Sorry your struggling. I agree if your unhappy with treatment your receiving now before surgery imagine how unhappy you may be afterwards. If you don't feel comfortable take your business elsewhere.

Hey Girl....I know it seems like a lot to do but everything they have you do is for a reason.  I had surgery with Dr Bury in June.  I had a great experience the entire staff at Deaconess.  Have you been to support group lately.  I really get a lot out of it.  Good Luck Rebekah Evansville,IN 6/26/2007 280/169/164 hw   cw  gw

Tisha, Normally, I feel like Rebekah with trusting that all they are having you do is for a reason. However...if they require you to maintain a weight loss PRE-OP, they really don't get why people have the surgery, do they? If we could have maintained a weight loss without a weight loss surgery, why in the heck would've we had the surgery???? That alone would have been enough for me to switch facilities/surgeons!
