Thanks I'm gonna ask for a copy of my preop measurements as well as a target range for my nutrition stuff. I have been using fitday off and on but some days I get super busy and forget to track my stuff.. Tomorrow I'm gonna start on it again and get it right from Breakfast. The juice thing is part of what scared me too because I'm scared that it will raise my blood sugars or as you said cause me to dump since for some reason I've been experiencing some dumping issues with random things (the tuna the other day and splenda sweetened decaf tea yesterday).

Welch's has some Light Grape Juice..It's what I get when I'm in the mood for juice. It taste pretty good too. I used Fitday at first (even bought the home pc version), but I prefer SparkPeople.com. It helps you track everything..including all of your nutrients, water, food, execise. Check it out. It's easy to use..and offers complete weight loss support. It's also very educational. Sherri

Right now a typical day of eating for me is like this : Breakfast : A skim Mozarella cheese stick. Lunch: 1-1.5 oz of tuna and 4-5 wheat thin crackers or 1 oz of lunch meat and 1 oz of cheese cubes or a cheese stick. Dinner: Sometimes I'll have what the family is eating although ground beef and pork don't sit well with me and chicken is still hit or miss soo I'll usually do 1-2 oz of whatever meat theyre having or lunchmeat and cheese again. I don't always get a snack in although I do try. Most the time this will be either a cheese stick or a handfull of multigrain cheerios or kashi cereal that has protein in it. On a typical day like this even if I keep everything I eat in I will sometimes do a tube feed at night and that gives me 11 g of protein plus a few extra calories and stuff but I try not to do them if I don't have to because I really want my feeding tube out.

What kind of lunch meat are you eatting??? Most lunch meats I know of are processed meat with more fat and sodium than we need.. like I  should never eat a regular hot dog or a pc of bologna. I still eat cheese sticks, refried beans with cheddar cheese. Make sure of what you are eatting.. Linda kay

Hi Misty, I'm sorry about your stall. I was told that i wasn't having enough protein when I wasn't going anywhere. Whats helped me is mixing it up a little so its not so blah. I dno't eat cheese and meat together bc its all protein. try to have a protein and starch/fruit/vegs. I drink no sugar added apple juice between meals (along with milk) and also no sugar added juicy juice. my weight loss started to pick up with i was eating more. I'm also getting my walking in too. I try soo hard to write everything down but still is my weak point. I hope any of this helps!! I'm cheering you on girl!! hugs, Amanda

misty- please try not to be too hard on yourself about this. take a long look at how far you have come. you have brought your bmi down almost 20 pts in 6 months. that is terrific. sometimes your body just needs to take a breather to adjust. you are doing great. are you doing any protein supplements? also it does not sound absurd to be worried about what might happen if you up your calories, it sounds normal. after all, you probably spent a lot of your life focusing on not taking in too MANY calories and it is a big adjustment to have to start worrying about getting ENOUGH. just keep doing all that you can as advised by the nuts, and everything will work out fine. best of luck!!
