Sherry, I would love to meet you and your hubby for dinner sometime.  I am married, so it would be good to get out with hubby, and leave the kids with the grandparents :).  We can meet on your side of town, so you pick where is good to eat.  We are former east sider's so, we are familiar with the area.  Let me check with my hubby to find out when is a good time, and I will let you know.   I wonder if it is possible to do TT, BL, and Arms at once....I really need to start setting up some consultations. Thanks for being so helpful, and I'll let you know about dinner, k? Tina

Sherri, You can ask Dr. B's office for a copy of your before shots. They gave me a page with my before and after on the same page. AMAZING! I still take it out and look at it and can't beleive the changes. I asked for a copy so i could share with others who needed a good idea of what a difference can be. I am so glad to hear you are doing great.Soon you will be all done and feeling great!  Hugs! Marianne

Marianne, Thanks! I never thought about those pictures! Dr. Bergman hasn't even mentioned 'after' pics. LOL! Can't say I blame her. My poor tummy right now would scare the bejesus out of anyone considering a tummy tuck! LOL! I wish this conversation had taken place Monday though..I was just in there to see her on Wednesday. She didn't check out any of the incisions..instead, it was to check out the wound and stuff to get a game plan for the surgery on the 21st. She was also an angel and got Dr. Gupta to agree with no more wound-vac! Yay!! She'd also ordered alot of bloodword because I've lost about twice as much as what it was thought I would (29 lbs instead of 15). All was ok except the white count is low (2.9 when normal is 4-10) so she's requested the hemophillia center to put me on something to raise it (they haven't yet). If Dr. Bergman's office calls again..which I wouldn't doubt at all...I'll ask them to send me my before pics. Sherri

They just took my after pics at 5 months so...I would say in a few months you will be doing your centerfolds again! :o) I see Doc on the 17th for a little check. I found a spot on my right breast that feels quivery...really odd...I just want to make sure it is normal :o) I think maybe my implants dropped some more and I am just not used to them yet! lol It jsut doesn't feel as full as the other one and I don't want to have a small valve leak or anything...I hate to bother her but....my worry and reaching for the chocolates is not good either so I called and got an appointment. :o) I feel great now and am working at being good and getting back on track with a healthier eating...I really enjoyed the holidays and went up about 4~5 pounds but no regret as I totally enjoyed them! :o) I jsut need ot focus and get back into the groove.  Hugs! Marianne

Yep..I have a few months before it'll be five months. Maybe by then my tummy won't look too bad. I am hoping that SOME of my now metabolism stays after the 21st. Since food goes right through me, I feel like I eat all the time...5-6 meals at 4-6 oz each. And that is just to keep the weight I have minus 1-2 pounds a week ONLY. If I'm REALLY bad, then I might not lose them either but that does require me having a midnight snack that NO post-op should have (like a whole box of pizza rolls!). I know that when I go back to work I won't have time to constantly stuff my face so I need a little of the old 'me' back..but it sure is nice not having to worry about gaining weight! LOL!  Bill & I have been discussing me getting my breast done afterall. Because of all the time I missed though, I won't be able to take off of wor****il probably next year (to have enough FMLA saved up). That gives me some time to get bills paid up/off too. Someday, I would like to see your before & after pics if you don't mind. Sherri

Morning Everyone, Surgery went fine. After taking the mass out the doctor became really confused and told my family "I don't understand, it looked like cancer in the office when I seen her but after taking it out I'm not so sure now. So I'm not doing the hystorectomy until we get the results back from this mass." So..... no surgery next week. Meanwhile we (especially me) are on pines and needles until then. I had a great first night home resting, however yesterday I had a bad reaction to my meds and what was left of the antithesia (sp?) that was in my body. So I'm really weak and disorientated with a really bad headache even today. Everyone has been pitching in to help with Q but it sure does make me feel guilty not to be able to take care of my own kids and do my part in running this household. But I guess I"ll get over it. SO I'm resting today and hoping for good news either on Friday or Monday. Crossing my fingers big time. Hope everyone has a good day. Thanks so much for all the prayers and thoughts and everything else. Jodi

Well I just got a call from Dr Inman's office. She wants me to come to the hospital the 21st (day before surgery) to have a pic line put in and a trach. They are hoping I won't be going home with the trach because I did well on the pulmonary function test. So please keep your fingers crossed that it doesn't come home with me. She also wants me to start taking the calcium citrate and vitiman D today because my levels were low. So looks like I'm heading to Walmart. I wanted to just sleep all day today because I have a severe sinus infection and with my mother in law passing tuesday and the things going on with my 4 yr old niece I'm just stressed to the max. Went to my PCP yesterday he upped my zoloft and gave me sleeping pills and something to help lower my triglicerates. UGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH! I feel like my head is just going to pop it's so tensed up. Well I'm off to Walmart then hopefull a nap when I get home. Take care everyone. ~Angie!
