Just needed to vent

The surgeons office said I didn't have to see the dietician every month per my insurance guidelines.  So since December was my 6th PCP and 4th dietician visit visit, I should be able to resubmit my paperwork to my insurance company.  YAH! The problem is for the first 2 months of my diet, I went to a bariatric center doctor in Terre Haute.  But the wait for my appointments became so long that I couldn't go anymore because of work.  So I started seeing my family doctor in town.  Well, I called the bariatric center several weeks ago to get the doctor's record sent to Dr. Inman, and they didn't do it.  So I called everyday last week and finally they faxed them.  Dr. Inman's office was wonderful even refaxed the request several times.   Colleen reviewed everything said it looked great, and she would fax it the following day (Friday).  But it wasn't faxed.  On Monday she didn't have time to fax it, Tuesday, the computers (not the fax) were messed up.  They were replacing software or something.  So no faxing.  Said she would try to do it in the am today.  Called Rachel at bcbs (she is helping with my case) and guess what......NO FAX. I feel like I am pestering Colleen if I email everyday with...Have you faxed yet???..But I thought that she was just as frustrated with bariatric center as I was for taking so long to fax.  And now she is doing the same thing.   Sorry I just am really frustrated. Hey Kim, I'm from TH, not too far from you. We almost moved to Clinton last summer, but it didn't work out. (Probably for the better, in light of all the changes now.) I know that sometimes you have to be a squeaky wheel to get a little grease. I would keep calling, I guess, if it were me.

Linda- Is your husband from Clinton?  Or did he go to SVHS?  I thought maybe he went to school with my husband Dan. I work at Dr. Rutan's office, and we work with VR frequently.  So if you deal with low vision folks, then we may spoke on the phone. Thanks, Kim

Yes, his name is Michael Vicory, and his sister, Dede went to South Vermillion also.  I don't work with low vision, but my friend Tina Lambert does. Do you work with her? I have heard lots of good things about Dr. Rutan.

I thought he looked familar.   And yes, I do get to talk to Tina.  She is a sweetheart.  Dr. Rutan and I are both pretty fond of her.  I like Charolette (sp?) too.  She has to deal with me alot because of Medicare/Medicaid changes which mess up billing.

Yes, they are both good people to work with. Did you go to South Vermillion High School? What year did you graduate? I think Mike graduated in 1991.
