YIKES !!!! Surgery is next week

I cannot beleive its almost here.  1 week from tomorrow I will have my surgery.  I am anxious, excited, nervous and everything else too....lol Tomorrow morning I go to the hosptial where I am having my surgery and they are going over things with me there and also doing bloodwork as well. - thats it. Then the next day (thrusday) I go to my surgeons office and see my NUT, Nurse, and surgeon one last time.    I want this surgery so much to change my life for the better - health wise.  I am not unhealthy - besides being overweight so i want to do it while I am young and healthy as I can be.   I am nervous about the surgery, I am not afraid of pain or following strict diet plan from now on.  I am just afraid of the what -ifs and not being there for our son who just turned 3.  I have never been away from him and never left anyone watch him before EVER.  My husband will be caring for him and I am more afraid for them than for myself.   Well, enough rambling... I could go on and on.....lol I am so ready- well, as ready as I am gonna get

Happy Birthday to us. I was fine ,until my son got up today and told me just 8 more days mom. Then I got nervous all of the sudden. Wishing you good luck and a speedy recovery too.

Sarah, You will do fine!  You are healthy so that is a big plus.  It is normal to have so many emotions going.  Dont forget to go to the grocery to get the foods on your list that you can have so it will be there when you get home.  Good luck! Jenny

Good luck Sarah.  We'll all be here to help you through the next few days.  It'll be good for Dad and baby to spend some time together while you're in the hospital.  It'll make it easier for them when you're home and recouperating.  The fears are normal though.  What a great wife and mommy you are and how much better you're going to be!  WAAAAAHOOOOOOO! Hi Sarah,  The time will fly, and before you know it, your day will be here-woo~hoo!!  I think it is great you're able to have it so young. You have your whole life as a healthy person ahead of you!!!! I know for myself, I fought for 3 yrs. to get it, and wish I could have yrs. before, but am so happy to be in the good health I am now.  Sounds like you have a great hubby, and this will be bonding time for them. Just remember to take it easy afterward, and have some extra help on board. Family & friends are a great support. Know we all are rooting for you- you go girl!!!We are here for you, cheering you on! Thanks everyone.  My husband is taking off 2 full weeks of work to help care for our son since I cannot left him at all. The only time hubby and son will be home alone is at nighttime for bed - they are staying all day at the hospital with me
