my daughter tiffany will be getting rny soon

Tiffany my daughter seen Dr.mattar today at clarien and We thought she would need six months of vists and we got there .They checked my new insurance for her and said she does not need six months and So when Dr.mattar seen her .He said she will get her blood work then see the psch on the 21st then He will schedule her surgery ..Boy Blue cross is quick this year..Last year for me I had mplan and I had to do the six months... we are so excited...Also we had no copay I was shocked

Wonderful news about Tiffany and your insurance.  May I ask how old your daughter is?  I understood from your posting that she is still on your insurance.  Just wondering how young BCBS will do RNY on.  Best of luck with the pre-op work and keeping my fingers crossed for a quick surgery date. Peg

Peg, I'm 18 years old. Dr. Mattar has done down to 16 yrs old, just really matters how mature you are. Thanks Tiffany

Kewl congrats to her. BCBS was awesome with my claim too. I didn't have any requirements except proof that it  was medically necessary.
