Unbelievable

I can't believe the way my body has changed shape in just the past few weeks.  As of last Friday I've lost 64 lbs.  I started out in size 30 pants and now I don't know what I wear.  I've been wearing all of my same clothes as before my surgery.  They've been big but I could still wear them.  I got up this morning and put on a pair of my pants and they just fell to the floor!  My husband says I have to go shopping but I really don't want to.  A friend of mine did give me some size 22 and size 24 jeans but they are even too big.  I'm wearing the size 22 today to work.  I told my boss I may have to stick with jeans for a while because I don't want to buy any more clothes.  At least with jeans, I can wear a belt.  My boss is really trying to support me as best he can.  He told me to wear whatever I want until I get to a stable size.  My shirts are big too but I can get away with wearing big shirts.  At least they don't fall right off of me like my pants are! Just thought I'd share this wow moment with you.  It's amazing how fast I'm changing shape! Blessings, Jacqui

Jacqui thats awesome. I had the same thing happen to me. I was still wearing some of the preop stuff but they looked like clown pants on me then all the sudden one day I pulled them up and they fell down LOL. Congrats

That is so awesome, Jacqui!!!!  Congrats on the loss and keep up the great job!!!  I hope to have wow moments like that soon!

Doesn't it feel great to see the changes in your body.  If you can afford to do so, I would encourage you to buy a few things that fit even if it is from Goodwill.  It makes this journey so much more enjoyable to be able to wear clothes that fit and make you look good.  Even if you just buy one basic pair of black pants and wash them every night, before you can wash them to death you will have "under"grown them.  Congratulations on the great job you are doing!!! I check out WalMart clothes every time I was in there they are always marking down clothes to $5.00 and I get them.  Usually wear them for 2-3 weeks and start again. I got 38 inch pants a month ago and now need 36 inch.  I am not losing weight as much but it is redistributing itself. God Bless. E

That is awesome Jacqui!  You are doing great.  I am like you, I do not want to go spend the $ on new clothes when I wont be able to wear them after a short while.  I am going to go to Goodwill where they are cheaper and buy clothes there until I am at a stable weight.  Keep it up girl! Jenny

Jacqui, You go girl- nothing better than your pants falling of in front of your hubby- hee~hee! OOPS, my mind wandered for a minuteI hope you keep a pair of those "before "pants, it really is fun to try on when you get to your goal and see the differance! I hit the 1/2 price sale at the Goodwill, the Salvation Army, and yard sales (when in season) for things to tide me over, till the clothing exchanges. Is there a Support group near you? Perhaps they will hold one, or someone will want to share there things with you. Keep up the great job girl, you are doing FANTASTIC!!! (((hugs))) Ellen

Hey everyone.  I just had to put another post on this.  A friend of mine brought me a bunch of clothes last night.  Most of them were size 16 so they're still too small BUT...I am wearing a size 20 pant and an xl shirt today to work!  I started out in a size 30-32 pant and a 4x shirt.  I am floored at this new shape I've become.   I posted a few new pictures today in my smaller clothes. I honestly can't believe it's me.  Thank you Lord for this.  His hand is so evident in my progress.  He is soooo good. Smooches, Jacqui
