Under Pressure...
Linda,
You and your family will be in my prayers. I know things have been stressful for you at work and now a bit more stress on top of it all BUT I am proud of you that you were proactive in taking positive steps to keep your finances in order. Way to be smart.
As a widow I am also the sole breadwinner and it is not always fun but I am thankful I am healthier and can work. May you feel God's presence at this time and remember that He is in control of all things.

huggggggggggs and prayers are with you Linda...I understand all the changes...I lost my job last April and have had only Mark's income. Its not easy, but its amazing what we can all live without and not miss. The quality and quantity of life with our family is more important than material things. Changes are good...keeps us on our toes.
huggggggggggs, Janene
Lord, keep me in your will so I won't be in your way.

Hi Linda,
I know what you are feeling. When our daughter was 4 months old, we decided that my husband should quit work and stay home with the kids (my job paid better and frankly he makes a much better house-husband than I would a house-wife!). It was very hard sometimes knowing that I was solely responsible for the bills, car repairs, emergencies, etc. But, it was also a great relief to know that I could go to work and not worry about what kind of care my baby was getting. Rebecca is 6 now and Richard has gone back to work, but only part-time. We still struggle financially sometimes, but we find it is still worth it to have him available to take them to doctor appointments, and go to school functions in the daytime that I have to miss.
Whatever path you and your husband have started down, I'm sure it will work out all right as long as you are taking it together.
Goodluck.
Cindy
