2nd fill
I go tomorrow at 220 for my 2nd fill for the lapband with Dr Clark.....BOY O BOY do i HOPE i didnt gain over the holidays!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Everyone on the lapband boards tell me that after the 2nd or 3rd fill I will notice ALOT of restriction and then the weight will really start coming over easier.......I HOPE thats true also.....I been walking but I would really like to join curves or some place for women only cuz im not the type that wants a bunch of men looking at me while i try to work out lolol.........Im waiting to see if curves will have a special to save on sign up cost.........but if i dont see something by the end of january Ill be paying that full price to get going.......the awesome thing is...My 12 yr old wants to go with me and they said as long as shes big enough to handle the equipment its fine and its only 10$ per month.....so im very excited and hopefully will help her establish good habits at a young age UNLIKE I DID
I went to Curves several years ago and it really does help you lose. I was doing Weigh****chers and Curves. I like that it is so low impact and not boring and you are done in 30 min. Very rarely would I sweat, which made it feel like you werent getting anything out of it, but you really do. The Curves here let me make payments on the initial join fee, along with the monthly fee. Maybe yours will to. Good luck!

Hi Misty,
I don't know where you live, but I know Dr. Clark is on the southside, so thought you might be on the southside. I live on the southside and go to the Southport Curves. It is at Emerson and Stop 11, right across from the St. Francis south campus. They often have sign-up specials and there is definitely one going on in January because it is under new ownership and they are having a Grand Re-Opening. Everyone there is very nice. I had RNY (with Dr. Mandelbaum) on February 20, 2007, but have been going to Curves since June 2006. I love it. If you have any additional questions, let me know

Yes. The owner there is Diane. She is great. All the gals who work there are good, too. You can tell Diane or whoever is working when you go that you "know" me. All the gals who work there know who I am, I think. One knows me real well - my daughter works there part-time, her name is Jaime Howard. She works usually on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. She is a teacher, so she only works there part-time. I go when I can - usually on Monday, Wednesay, Thursday, and Friday evenings and when I can, I go on Saturday mornings. They are open Monday through Thursday from 6:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. On Friday, they are open from 6:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. On Saturday, they are open from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. They are closed on Sunday.
I hope to see you there.
Donna
