Good morning. I am trying to stay warm and my feet don't know that. The sun is kind of out this morning but not like yesterday. I have to go into the church office this morning so I can help get the newsletter out. Jeri is running late and so she asked if a few of us would help her. Worked out yesterday but didn't get to see the trainer for her to tell me how to use the weight lifting machines. She gave me a medical release for the heart doctor to sign before I can do any of those machines. I understand but it just puts me farther behind. Oh well, what is a girl to do? I am planning on going in today and doing the treadmill. I really enjoy it. I better get going. Nothing much is going on today and it will be nice for a change.  Hi Everyone,  Boy, will this ever stop? My head is still killing me & now Dana has it!! I really feel bad for him, but am not surprised since the folks we went to Ak. with all had it either before we left or while we were there. Some vacation! We did have a good time just hanging out, reading, and watching movies.  I went to the Drs. yesturday and he said to use Benadryl for my sinus, since anything else really messes me up. I did try to get on the chat line last night, but hadn't downloaded the Java 5, so hopefully now I can. I miss talking with everyone.  We WON'T be at the Clothing Exchange tomorrow- just can't chance  giving anyone this- especially new post-ops, or Sherri ! I'll just have to try to get togehter later with you all. Darn, I always have so much fun seeing you, sharing new reciepes/ideas/ girl talk/and get rid of a few things/pick up some new. Oh well, April is only 3 months away!!!  Sherri- sure doesn't surprise me at all- at least you are doing the right thing.DON'T let it/her get you down!!!! I miss you girl, and hopefully when we get better we'll call you and see about getting together,'K!! Call me! Linda,it sounds like your boss is pretty caring and concerned about you. Remember to keep focusing on the positives and do the best you can each day. Some days are tougher than others, but you do have the skills and knowledge to succeed!!! i believe in you! Happy Friday all!  Tis a chilly one!  I am still not sure if I am going to be making the exchange.  I do have a few thing to bring so hopefully I can.  Trying to get back on the wagon is easier said than done.  However, I'm determined!!  Hope everyone has a great weekend!!

I'm still debating on coming to the exchange because of this nasty respiratory stuff. I don't want to pass it on to anyone who doesn't have it and so it just depends. Most of it is in my lungs now too and if I'm not feeling a lot better by this evening I probally will NOT be there.

Well, I have been a bum today! heheh!  After I posted about getting the glass of milk down just fine, I saw my DH all snuggled in the warm bed, (can't you tell where this is going?) and decided that I would lay back down for a FEW minutes!  Yeah, RIGHT??????  At 2:30 PM this afternoon, I wake up thanks to the phone ringing!!  Oh my, I haven't slept like this in years!!! I guess that was my body's way to tell me to rest some, isn't it?!?!?  Needless to say, I haven't accomplished anything at all!  Now I NEED to get up from here and get something done around here before the girls get home.  Hope you all have a better afternoon!

Its a little late but wonna wish you all a happy friday. Man its cold out there we had to take my teenage son to the doctor. Then went on the hunt for scales that go over 350 pds. My son was refered to childrens he has reynaurds syndrome his hands turn blue because of circulation  issues she thinks he has rheumotiod arthritis which caused the reynaurds..otherwise he is healthly and a sweetie. I did find the scales yeah me. My boys go back to school monday and after 12.5 yrs on night shift my hubby is going to days..what a change in our house. Linda your boss must know you are a good worker he is workin with you. Sherri sometimes family takes us for granted but someday she is gonna need you again and you can let her have it but you are and inspiration to me i love your messages. and everyone else take care of yourselfs so you will get better. and have a great clothing exchange....

Linda,  I work for the state.. their new thing since the GOV took over is 10% has to be over achievers..80% has to be regular and 10% HAS to be a failure if they are or not.. My group of 10- work VERY hard, we know one will get a 10% raise.. know which one too.. the one up the boss' butt, and 1 will be put on a work iimprovement program, with no raise and the rest will get their total 4% raise.  When the 4% raise went to indystar, people were bad mouthing state employees saying we didnt deserve a raise but they really dont realize last year I brought home less than the year before because of insurance increases and this year even with a 4% raise..( I hope) (boss doesnt like me) I will even bring home less. It is defeating!! The comments on Indystar about state employees was depressing but they sure love us when we straighten up their errors and get them the benifit THEY want.. sigh... Ya can't win Just knowing your faults and having a boss willing to work with you is helpful.. My boss just gives all of us dirty looks and emails in all CAPS to make her points.. wonder if she realizes how RUDE they are... Darn I wish we had our union back... they didnt do much with the pay but they sure kept the bosses from being so degrading..Morale stinks!! Linda Kay
