Ready to give up!!!

I am so frustrated!! I can't find the number for the dang Dr. that has all my medical records. I don't know if they closed or what! I need those records for my 6mth Dr supervised weight loss so I can be submitted to insurance. I have started a new weight lose program with my current PCP just in case but does anyone have any suggestions on how to locate an old physician? Oh and I am still working on the smoking thing. I was hoping to be smoke free by clothing exchange but don't think it's gonna happen.

Kelly please don't be frustrated!  I am currently there with ya!  I too have to track down my old retired PCP with 5 year wieght records.  It is possible.  If you know what Section he is with "clarian, st. vincent etc...  Thre should be a way to call and they can give you a location to where you get records from that certain doctor.  I havn't tried yet, but I have heard that this is the way to do it.  I am sorry that I can't give you much more help, but remember that that their are going to be loopholes in life that your just going have to jump through, but the grand prize will be priceless!  You can do it, you can do it, you can do it!!!!!!!!!!1  Just take it slowly, take a deep breath and just realax.  Everything will work in your favor, you just wait and see!!!!

Is it a physician there in your area? Did you forget the name or can't find him in the phone book? If you know the name, try the local hospital and see if they know what happened to him.   Best of luck!!

The library will have old yellow pages maybe looking through the year or years you went to them will ring a bell. E

Also consider calling your insurance company, and ask what physicians had submitted claims for you during that time period, then they should have the contact number.
