hi there can anyone tell me what i can do for hair loss? ive noticed when im in the shower im having alot of hair falling out ?

i have alot of hair but i surley dont want to lose it all lol so if any one has any suggestions that would be great

start taking biotan 1000mg daily it will help a bunch and it is safe to take.i am 8 months out and its starting to slow down and new hair is growing in. i get mine at walmart. vicki

how many pills is a 1000mg? are they small pills? i apreciate that info because i need to do something? i dont wanna go bald or anything lol thanks

Hey missy~ I started taking biotin last week...I take 1 pill a day...that is the 1000mg....I got them at Walmart... Spring Valley brand..they are about the same size as the B1 pill. I don't have a problem getting them down. Good luck janene

Heather, I do believe it does help with that. I just bought some and they are only like 3 dollars at wal mart. I doubt that it would hurt to give it a try. It is suppose to help with your nails too.

I think it's pretty normal to have some hair loss, no matter what you do, but you can try the biotin and gentle shampoos, like nioxin. My solution want to get my hair cut short, which helped hide it, too.

I have always taken Bitoin and not had any trouble until lately with my hair coming out.. ( I am almost 3 years out) People have reminded me to make sure I get my pprotien in!! so that is a plus too!! Take your vitamins and get your protien in!! Linda Kay
