Hoosiers Losers Directory Update

It’s time for an update to the Hoosiers Losers Directory.  I am hoping to get it  emailed out to everyone by January 1^st.  There will not be an update in February because Brenda and I will be on our Disney World / WLS Cruise to the , so if there are any changes or additions, please send them to me this week.

 

 

The directory is for personal use only and everyone is encouraged not to use it to send out mass mailings and jokes.  It will not be put on the internet in any form, but will only be sent via email only to those participants on the directory.  An updated version will be sent out the first of every month.

Last call for Secret Pal.... If anyone is wanting to participate in the Secret Pal exchange for 2008, please ensure that your information is included in the directory. I changed the deadline and draw date to the first weekend in January to give everyone sufficient time to get past Christmas & New Year's. I only sent invitation links to those who are on the directory. I will be sending out a final reminder next week prior to the deadline ONLY to those on the directory. So..if you want to participate and are not on the directory, please contact Floyd ASAP with your info! Sherri

What exactly is the Secret Pal exchange? Jenny

Jenny & all others interested in the Secret Pal Exchange: With the Secret Pal Exchange, each person will be assigned a 'pal' for the year. This will be done randomly through a program called Elfster. At least once per month, it is expected that you remember your 'pal' in some way...an ecard, a card, a small gift, etc. On special occasions (birthday, surgery anniversary, wedding anniversary, hospital stays, holidays), it would be nice to do something extra special for them as well.  Because of how some attentive (or lack thereof) that some pals were in 2007, I have been asked to stress that #1, you should have some kind of contact with your pal AT LEAST monthly and #2, all of the contacts should NOT be by e-card only. If you cannot commit to doing this, please do not accept the invitation to participate. It isn't fair for the person's whom name you draw. One other thing, when you are on the recieving end and you recieve something from your secret pal, it is common curtesy to pop a little thank you note here on OH. Since this is a SECRET exchange, you won't usually know who sent you the something special so a note here on OH  lets the person know that you did recieve the gift...and hopefully that you appreciated it. Recently, I spent over $100 for my pal for Christmas & surgiversary and I can't even get an acknowledgement that they recieved it.  I hope this answers all the secret pal questions...if not, feel free to ask...and I'll try to answer them as best as I can.
