Good Friday Morning Everyone

Good Morning all !!   I guess I get to start the thread today lol.  Still busy today trying to finish up what I didnt get done yesterday.  I actaully got my kitchen all cleaned up and then I decided to make sugar cookies for the kid and for my daughter to take to her party at pre school today except I decided to make hers on a stick like a sucker [IMG]http://i39.photobucket.com/albums/e198/ulisha/jadynscookies.jpg[/IMG] [IMG]http://i39.photobucket.com/albums/e198/ulisha/Jadynscookies2.jpg[/IMG] I thought they were pretty cute, if I say so myself lol.  She was my sprinkle factory so some of them are quite covered thats for sure.  I did pretty good baking them, I only had to catch myself a couple of times licking the icing off my fingers, oooh my I'm sure my tummy would not of liked that, thats for sure.  Well I'm off to get the kids ready for school and myself cuz I get to spend 2 and half hours with 15 4 and 5 year olds. Today is my Christmas lunch at work. We are going to do our gift exchange too. Folks that wanted to participate drew one name from the group. I got my sec'y. I got her a couple of books. I hope she likes them.  Other than that,.. not too much is going on today. Just an easy day at work,... and home tonight.

Good Morning, I have some wrapping to do, but I went to see my PCP yesdreday and 8 viails of blood drawn. Hopefully all comeback normal,cause my arm still hurts. I bet it will busy for anyone going out shopping today. We went past Greenwood  Mall on our way home from , there wasnt a parking place in sight. I hope day goes well and fast for those who working today. My daughter is doing some baking to but I couldn't try any thing, every sweet makes me sick. Hugs,Blessings, Gail 

Just stopping in to say Hi! If I disappear for the rest of the day I may be heading to St. V's My G-tube has been slowly moving INTO the stomach since Wednesday. This morning I woke up and the only part hanging out of my incision is the valves. This is not normal, especially since it was stitched in place last time I saw the stitches. This is just getting to be annoying. ETA: I just talked to Dr. C's nurse and shes going to discuss it with Dr. C when she gets into the office. Right now I have to pull it out as much as possible and tape it to my skin and wait til they call back again.

Morning all. Hope your day is going better than mine.  It isn't that anything is bad or wrong here, just my nerves setting in.  I just posted a blog on my profile that explains what is going on.   I have to work today......at least it is a short day today. Only 8 hours for a change.  After the past few days, I need a short day. We were busy yesterday, so I need a break.  Have a wonderful Friday. I am going to try. TTYL

Good morning everyone! Wow, yesterday, Bill & I were busy, busy, busy! He had an eye appointment at 10:15 so we had to leave home about 9:30. After that, we weren't home until about 6 last night! his appt. went fine. Hopefully, some of his vision might clear up within a month or so. Kinda, wait and see. Then we SHOPPED! For all of you that are a size 14 or more..or have someone to buy for who is: Lane Bryant has just about everything in the store at 50% OFF! That is a fantastic deal! Plus, if you apply for (no matter if you are approved or not) their store credit card, you save an extra 15%. I spent $105 and saved $135!! We also went to Sam's and Burlington's. I was worn out after that. So...today, I'll be running over to Value City to use the $220 in Santa Bucks that I got the other day. Tomorrow, it will be Meijer's..to use the Santa Buck coupons I have for there. Then my shopping will be completed! Well..other than food stuff. That is waiting until Sunday. After I get home today though, I'll be able to finish up my wrapping and concentrate on everything that has to be done on the pc (like getting pics on the memory sticks for my MIL digital frame).  Elaine, the visiting nurse, just called. She'll be here around 10 so it's time for me to hop in the shower. I'll probably take off after she leaves so I can get this day going!  You all have a terrific day! Just keep focussed and put your faith in God and your trust in your surgeon's hands. Everything really is up to them. All you have to do is snooze. YOUR work begins afterwards! And you will do terrific with it. You have many, many support people...in fact, more than many or most of us have. Remember that...you are not alone!

Good morning, all.  I am at the church now. I am filling in for the AdMin today and next week Wed.-Fri. I enjoy doing this. I get to interact with people and I miss that not working. That is my goal - to go back to work. I had to stop working because of my bck (I have a disc disease, arthritis,muscle damage and 2 herniated discs) and heart problems (cardiomyopathy and CHF). I am feeling so much better since surgery and I am hoping that the doctors will let me go back to work some time in the new year. I miss being around the public.  I have to do some last minute shopping today. I have to do some for my sister too. She called me and what she is wanting to get her daughter wasn't there and so she asked me if I would look by my house.

I have been having problems with my cable. I now have no phone, since I have Comcast phone service. Now I know why (at least this is what I am hoping for) I have been having some problems with my computer. It has been so slow (almost not moving at all! lol) and last night it was terrible. That is when I discovered there was no phone either. The television is alright but nothing else. The service man can't come until tomorrow between 4-7 p.m. I told him that I needed a phone in case I needed an ambulance but he said there was nothing he could do about it and he would credit me for the time. A lot of help that does if I need an ambulance. lol I better get going. I have to finish the Sunday bulletins. Hope everyone has a wonderful and warm day today. Hope I can chat later tonight but I can't promise that. Bye for now. 

Boy what a problem with NO PHONE.  There is no excuse why a phone line is not repaired ASAP.  MA BELL always was johnny on the spot and still is.  I will never tie my bucket to an all in one IP service.  Networks go down and you can have a neighbor eating up your bandwidth and have to wait for a techie to find the port that is gobbling up the bandwidth and shut them off. Praying that you don't have a need for phone service or at least have a cell phone for outside contact. E
