Pre-Op Wow Moment!!!

Last night we had our employee Christmas party at the casino.  All of our friends were there.  What could we do without our friends!!!  Anyway, after the party, we went over to some friends home, that they have JUST started moving into. There were about 10 of us there, and we all know each other well.  One of my very best friends looked at me and he said, "LaChelle, I just NOW realized how much weight you have lost!!!!" I looked at him, his girlfriend looked at him, the whole room looked at him, and said, "Well, look at her, she is melting before our very eyes! Just wait until NEXT WEEK!"  Then he pulls out his phone and pulls a picture up of me that was taken back in September.......I look totally different now than I did just a few short months ago!    Several others at the party could tell as well, and would grab me and ask if I had already had the surgery!!! That was really a good feeling to have my close friends really start to notice now.......how do you think they are going to react once I do actually have surgery!!!  How in the world am I going to react to their reactions??? I am doing this to make myself healthy, that is the first thing..........but after I am healthier, I will be much happier as well.  This is going to be such a rollercoaster ride!!! I can't wait to get on!!!

Ok, now this is getting scary..........I just happend to be looking for a sweater to wear in my closet, and way back in the back was a pair of jeans that I hadn't worn in about 10 YEARS!!!!!!!!!!!They fit perfectly!!!  OMG!!! I am just about to faint!

 Congrats on your WOW moment! Here's to many many more! We had customers asking Peter if I was OK when I was dropping weight, they all thought I had some terrible disease. Crazily enough most of them couldn't understand why I wanted to loose weight in the first place.  but anyway! Congrats! Isn't it great when you find those jeans that finally fit! Hope

Hey GF that is great. I know that when I was on the pre-op diet I had some people tell me that if I kept losing weight the way I was I wouldn't need the surger. lol I just told them there isn't enough days left in my life to do that!   Some people have told me that I am melting before their eyes. I always knew that at times I was a witch but come on, this isn't OZ!!!! Keep up the great work. Is the pre-op diet getting better for you? Hope so.

Congrats....I know everyone who has had wls surgery has had awesome Wow moments, but doesn't feel awesome for the presurgry wow moments. You will have more and more very soon....I can not wait for more wow moments. Good luck with surgery, You will be in my thoughts and prayers. Shanna
