Happy Tuesday!!!
T'was the week before Christmas.........yippie!!! Hope everyone is doing well this Tuesday morning. The girls just got on the bus, the hubby is still NOT home from work, because he is working over, and it is nice and cozy in the house, so I am going to crawl back in bed and get a few more minutes of shut-eye before I have to get going and do some work around the house. The water company came by yesterday, and left everyone on our road a lovely little note telling us that everyones water will be cut off at 8 am, to repair an exposed water main. Joy joy joy. At least I grabbed my shower right after the girls. That just means no laundry until they get it back on......oh well! lol Also, NO DISHES! hehehe, that really breaks my heart.........HOT! lol
We had our employee Christmas party last night. It was a wonderful celebration with so much food and sweets, but I survived. There was more choices at our celebration than they have at a huge chain buffet, like Ryans or Golden Corrale!!! They even had a buffet line set up for the children with things like tater tots, chicken strips, mac and cheese and other goodies like that. And, of course, you can't forget the desserts.........cakes, pies, cookies, and a 5 tier chocolate fountain with everything you could imagine for dipping and coating! Fresh fruits, biscotti, pretzles, marshmallows, and cookies galore.
I am headed back to bed now, have a great day, I will ttyl.
At Goal! 165 pounds gone forever! Thank you Lord!

Good morning!
MY big plans today?? WRAP! I HAVE to do it!!! I know that I have tons of things to do before Christmas. I just have to get the lazy bug out of me! Bill says it's not 'lazy' just 'recouping'...isn't he sweet? Actually, it's part of both but I think my mind uses one as an excuse for the other alot of the time...lol! After I get my wrapping done, I have to resize a ton of pictures so I can get them on my mil's digital frame's memory chips. That is going to be time consuming. Not hard..just boring. Maybe I'll work on that when I take my breaks from wrapping.
We went to Value City yesterday. OMG, I ended up spending $630!!. On the plus side, I got $220 Christmas bucks to spend come Thursday (you got $20 for every $50 spent...that is going on through tomorrow. Then you get to use the 'bucks' Thrusday-Monday). I got a ton of clothes for the grandkids mainly. I probably got $200 worth of just shoes for the little ones. That was so much fun! There's very few things left on my Christmas shopping list now.
No time like the present..time to wrap. You all have a good day!

Sherri! You're a shopping machine! Hehe. I can't say too much. I spent more money on my kids last night. We found a pink Nintendo DS Lite for Maggie. The pink ones are hard to find. Heck, any of them are hard to find right now. WE went to several stores to find that one. It was the last DS in the store, and it was PINK!!! Hip Hip Hooray! SHe's a girly girl. She will be getting a Disney Princess video game to play on it.
Debbie, thanks for going out with me to dinner last night. That was a nice break!
Today I have major appointments scheduled at work. Have to see alot of people. I also have a doctor appointment for 11:45, so it's a busy day. Then I have to work from 5-12mid tonight at Sears too. But I don't have to work Sears again until Saturday then, so that's not bad.
Well, I'm almost ready for Christmas. I have most everything wraped and under the tree. I'll finish my wraping when I get home tonight. The only person left to shop for is my DH. I picked up a radio alarm clock for him last night that looks like an IU scoreboard. He'll love it. I know what else to buy, I just have to find the time to go get it. I bought myself a gift last night also. I was in Fashion bug a couple of wks ago and saw a sweater I liked but it was $32 and I couldn't justify spending the money on me. Since then I got a $10 dollar off anything coupon and a10% off card by mail so I decided if they still had one in my size I'd get it. When I got there they not only had it, it was 50% off. So with my additional coupons it only cost me 5.83. What a bargain. Things didn't go so well when I got home though. I was picking up stuff in the basement and my DH was on the treadmill. I nocited the blower motor on the furnace making a funny noise, shortly after that the motor on the treadmill died and blew a circut. So now we need to get the treadmill and the furnace fixed! Oh well, I guess I just need to be grateful that I have stuff to break when so many have nothing.
Well I need to get back to work. Have a great day everyone!
Hi all,
Yesturday we took Bethany & Aiden to the Drs for their 2 mo. check up- she weighs 8#6oz. & is 20" long; he is 8#12oz. & 21' long- wow, my grandbabies are now normal weight for my daughter- all her boys were over 8-9# at birth!! The Dr. said bethany has thrush, & he bellybutton hopefully will heal itself by the time she is 1 yr.old- it looks aweful! She is such a sweet little girl and after 3 shots in her legs, she puckered up and cried real tears- only the second time! Now Aiden on the other hand is very vocal- he bellered like a little calf! Bless their little hearts.
The family is coming Sun. for Christmas and I have to figure out what I am fixing besides a ham & cheese pototoes. I am just kind of bummed this yr. Not much under the tree for the grandkids and the older ones all are so hard to shop for- the gifts they want are over our budget .We only have $35.00 each this yr., so they are getting gift cards. That, & this time of the yr. my SAD really hits- I just don't want to "medicate" myself thru, so sorry if I sound whinny-
the weather really does effect me.
We have everything wrapped & under the tree- maybe I should go to Sherri's and help out- I LOVE to wrap presents! I helped my friends for yrs. do theres, just tape, wrap, & a bow, & walla-done!! Sometimes we have used comics from the newspaper & raffia for ribbon- gotta love recycling!!!
I need to get off here & get ready to go to the church for the volunteer luncheon. Luckly one of the ladies putting it on has had a RUNY, so she makes/brings things we can eat.
Have a great day everyone, and I'll talk to you later. Oh, and all of those either having surgery or thinking of it, I wish you all the best! You are on your way to living a healthy life, & a better you
(((hugs)))
Ellen!

Hi all,
Tuesday is here and there isn't anything on my calander until tonight - a Purse Party, Christmas shopping for me! Peter and I are just 'hanging out', he's flipping channels every 30seconds, and I'm goofing off online - What a Life!
Maybe I'll work on my son's 'birth to graduation' album later.
Tomorrow - gotta get up at the 'crack of dawn' to be at the Cancer Center by 9 (this time of year, anything before 7am is the crack of dawn!) going to see the doc and have his blood tested again, will know if he needs to get blood by 10am we hope. Blood transfusions take about 6hrs each time, if he needs it we will schedule it for Thurs am.
Then in the afternoon a couple interested in working for us in the 2008 season will be coming by for an interview (they have family in Laporte and were going to stop by for a face-to-face interview). Then I have an appointment for a Hot Stone Massage, here at home no less (our young masseus has table and will travel). After such a Gruelling day
I'll need it, Oh the joys of being in the 'off' season!
Well, you all have a happy day!
BTW - I love wrapping gifts! Used to do it for extra cash when I was a kid! Too Bad most of you are in southern IN, I'd be happy to wrap and visit with you! You can always tell which ones my husband wrapped, they look like they went through a war zone!
TTFN
Hope

I have nothing planned for today. I got up not feeling to good. I think it was because I went to bed so late after getting up so early. Sometimes that happens with my heart problem, so I just rest for a day and then I am fine. Thank God that the days like this come farther and farther apart!
I got most of my wrapping done yesterday. I only have a few more things to do. They can wait for a bit. I put everything under the tree and now Misty my cat is getting into them. Thank God that she has no nails. I would have confetti! She was sitting under the tree before the presents got under there. I got my spray bottle and when she sees it she flies into the bedroom under the bed. She is just a joy to me. When Bill goes to work in the afternoon she is my company.
I better get going. Hope everyone has a wonder day today, or at least what is left of it. The sun is out and it looks so nice. It is suppose to get to about 35 today! We are having a heat wave! Take care and bye for now.
