Rashes before surgery--is this a problem??

AAGGGHHHH!!! I had been doing so well and have had no rashes for several weeks and now I have three rashes going on--one under my tummy, on behind my knee and on under my arm!  I have surgery tomorrow!  I am using powder to dry them up and they should be better by tomorrow but not totally gone.  These rashes aren't that bad at all compared to some I have had, but are they going to cause the surgeon to not do the surgery???

It could just be hives due to the stress of surgery. They show up at the most inopportune times.  Either that, or just some overly dry skin thanks to the wonderful winter weather.  Hopefully neither of these will be troublesome enough to hinder your surgery.

Yeah, I do think it is related to anxiety from the upcoming surgery--they aren't my "usual" rashes--it will just be embarassing for all the nurses and doctors to see them!  But at least I will unconscious! 

I'm pretty sure that they're used to this Maddie. Just make sure that you wash them with Antibacterial soap before surgery and keep them dry... you should be fine...
