Monday Morning and all is well,

I hope everyone got to enjoy the weekend and the beautiful snow.  Once I got out of our drive the roads were great all the way from Knightstown to Richmond.  Andy and I both made it to work last night without complications.

I saw on the news this morning that they lady that went off the road Sat night into the pond died and so did her 3 kids that were with her.  How sad!

I want to wish the two having surgery today good luck and hope all goes without complications.  Its an exciting time.

Well I guess we are going to have a pretty good week.  Its going to only get warmer then next 2 days.  Enjoy the holiday spirit !!

Good morning! I actually got up with plenty of time today. Hip Hip Hooray! Usually the snooze alarm is our friend. Hehe. So I'm sitting at the computer with my cottage cheese and fruit.  I have to get to work this week on wrapping presents. It's a chore to me. I'm not particularly skilled at it, LOL, so mine you can always tell, but it's a necessary thing to be done.  I was disappointed to see that the Terre Haute Christmas party was cancelled due to how the weather's been, especially since I didn't make it to the Christmas ornament exchange or the Carmel party. Boohoo. I need a dose of my loser buddies. Good thing support groups will start back up in January.

Good morning all.  It is Monday, so that means I get to crawl back in bed once the girls get on the bus this morning. I have nothing planned except cleaning the house, and then our casino is having its employee Christmas party this evening.  Of course, Mariah has Brownies this afternoon, so I will be busy with that, but until then, it is just a relaxing day! Hope you all get to enjoy it like I am planning on today!
At Goal! 165 pounds gone forever! Thank you Lord!

Good morning everyone! Well..my son did make it over yesterday. We didn't get alot of wrapping done, but I feel good knowing it is started. Linda..I'm like you, it's a neccesary chore. I love seeing the little ones rip open the paper...so much more fun than bags & tissue paper..but I am just so lousy in the wrapping department. Jay has no confidence wrapping at all but got some practice yesterday. We wrapped 7 gifts together (big, heavy ones that I couldn't have done without help), and then I had to go rest. I left him to wrap ONE. Hehehe. Bill came in that room and saw Jay wrapping by himself and dug out 3 more presents (hmmmm...for me...???) for Jay to wrap. Jay did a MUCH better job than Bill could have. For those of you who know the lay-out of my house, my wrapping station is on the built-in back porch..where the treadmill & tanning bed is. I had everything boxed up in the guest bedroom so Jay hauled everything out of there for me and we have it all on the porch so that Bill can still get around (since that is also Bill's smoking room...lol). I have empty boxes piled up on the guest bed still but it looks alot better. Jay also moved the futon box...which was blocking the closet where my winter clothes are. A friend Tiffany works with is going to buy the bed (so I can set up the futon in there instead..and have LOTS more room!) so I needed it kinda cleared from stuff. Anyway, although I have tons more of wrapping to do, I feel good because at least there is a start...and everything else is size-wise stuff I can handle on my own. Today is my appointment with Dr. Gupta. Keep your fingers crossed and say a prayer for me that the surgery date was moved up...k? I have to jump in the shower soon & get ready to go. I gotta be there at 9:30 and you never know about rush hour traffic on 465 in the mornings. Hey...check out my ticker! I've held at 151 for the past 3 days!! Woo-hoo! I'm now in the double-Century club!!  I didn't know how it would do if you exceded your goal, so I made a new goal of 140. Don't worry Ellen, I am NOT going for a size 2! 'Normal BMI for my height is 115-154 so 140 isn't so far-fetched. I just can't believe I'm 'normal'!! I was a 'normal' baby...but was 'chubby' by the time I was 2 and never got below that....I just went from chubby to overweight to obese. I'm just amazed. At 46, I FINALLY am normal. Well..off to start this busy day. You all have a good one! Candy...good luck today!  Sherri

There are small hill's to get out of my neighborhood that gave me problems this AM.  Took trying all 4 exit routes until I found a hill that my truck would make it up. Fun way to start the day. E

Good morning all. I hope that everyone has a good and safe Monday.  I went out last night and got a few more gifts. Bill told me to start wrapping them today. I haven't got 1 done. They are starting to pile up and we have no where to put them until they can go under the tree. I seem to always have a lot more stuff than room to put it all. lol I am going to be spending most of this week wrapping and I hate to do that. It is a chore to me also. I love to have the presents under the tree in colorful paper with bright bows but I want the good fairy to do it all. If I have Bill do it he gets about 2 presents per roll of paper and I so I can't afford for him to wrap! I am glad that the snow if finally over now. We got 11" of snow Saturday night. We ended up canceling church yesterday. Pastor was going to come in but he lives in the Dunes Lakeshore and the roads are not always the best there. He has to travel about 20 minutes to get to the church. He lives in the parsonage of his wifes church (she is a Pastor too). If he lived in ours he would have been a couple of minutes away from the church. But no one was moving anywhere yesterday morning. Most of the churchs in the area was canceled.  Better get going. I am going to be busy for sure keeping Misty my cat out of the Christmas tree. She is under it all the time. I got her spray bottle and threatened her with it this morning. So far so good. She hates that bottle but it works and she knows what it is.   I hope all has a good day and stay warm and safe.  Bye for now.

Happy Monday!!  I had little to no problem getting to work this morning.  Just took it a bit slower than normal on the side streets.  70 was pretty much dry.  I had a lazy but not too lazy weekend.  Stayed in my jammies a good chunk of it.  I did all my holiday baking whi*****luded, 2 types of candy, 3 types of bread, chex mix, puppy chow, and gingerbread cookies!  My house smelled wonderful!  All I have to do is package it up and give it to people.  We did go out on Saturday night to the New Pal P.D. Christmas party and had a wonderful time.  I have a couple small things to grab after work and then I'll officially be done! I am getting so excited for Christmas.  We are hosting it at our house this year!  We're going to make a great brunch of our parents, my grandma and maybe the neighbors.  Just call me Betty Crocker!

I"m BACK!!!! Well I got back from the cruise on Friday but I was too tired to post much... THe cruise was WONDERFUL!! The weather was beautiful... mid 80's and sunny every day, I got a good tan and was SO relaxed. Of course there was a lot of partying involved... FUN TIMES!! Freeport was nasty I thought and nassau was fun... Lots of good shopping, i wish i had taken more money to get a knock off Louis Vuitton purse that I wanted. Oh well... I'm sure I"ll be back someday... My friend and I had a great time... It was a great vacation. Sam your bathing suit fit wonderfully... I will have it ready for you at the exchange thank you so much!!!

THis weekend I put up the christmas tree, we are not buying gifts this year. We were going to but my husband got robbed and we had to come up with money to pay our insurance deductibles to replace his laptop and car stereo and such so Christmas is now out of the question. We don't have any little children anyways so it's not that big of a deal. I did buy a little Santa's helper nighty Merry Christmas to both of us right?

Tonight my friend and I are doing our christmas baking for friends and co workers... I'm making wls friendly diabetic friendly no bake cookies and chex mix trail mix... her family and friends are diabetic andmy family is diabetic so we make stuff that they can enjoy... I have my health screening for work tomorrow. I'm excited they tell you what your percentage body fat is (which i know will still be high because i don't lift weights tsk tsk on me) cholesterol and blood sugar... i haven't had that tested since surgery.

Hope everyone got where they were going today safely... I guess I need to do work... argh

Happy monday all!  How is everyone doing????   I am very sick.  I have had the worst cold for the last four days!!!!  I am so miserable.  I am at work right now, and I have the worst sinus headache.  I may have to use some of my personal time and head home.  But other than that, it's been a very joyful day thus far!  Everything went pretty well this morning.  My brothers and sisters were on two hour delays this morning from school, so everyone in the house basically slept in but me.  Lol, it was kind of weird being the first person to leave this morning.  Lol, but enough of my talking!  EVERYONE HAVE AN AWESOME MONDAY!
