My coworkers are AWESOME!!

I LOVE where I work and the people I work with are the most amazing and kind people I know--but today they are even kinder and most awesome than I knew!! A little bit ago, they all brought in a big gift basket with stuff for my surgery/recovery time--a fleece blanket, great hand lotion, travel size shampoo/conditioner for the hospital, crossword book, jigsaw puzzle (I LOVE puzzles!), cashmere socks, and on and on and on.  They all gave me a hug and then my boss told me how proud they all are of me!  I just started crying like a baby!  It is so great to know that I have all these supportive people around me!! I am really going to miss my work while I am off!

I agree with you - it is wonderful to have the support of your co-workers.  The group I work with did the same for me before surgery and have been very supportive afterwards.  If we are having a meal, etc. they always make sure there is something there that I will be able to eat.  Get ready for lots of compliments when you go back.  They will still be great cheerleaders.
