Everything will be okay... You have a safe surgery and get some sleep. You will need all the rest you can get before surgery!!

Oh honey, it will be ok. The nutritionist said the other day that if you aren't nervous about having the surgery, then you aren't ready to commit to a new life. It is perfectly normal to question everything.  You are going to be just fine. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Take care and have a quick and easy recovery.

Tomorrow is going to be fine. You may be nervous tonight but you won't even have time to think about it tomorrow. Everything is going to go so fast that before you know it you are going to be on the losing side of your new and improved life. My thoughts and prayers are with you for a speedy recovery with nothing happiness afterward.

It's not what you gather, but what you scatter
that tells what kind of life you have lived.

That old says, "Tomorrow will be the first day of the rest of your life" is so true.  Tomorrow you start a new and improved life.  I feel like I was given a second chance at life since WLS.  You will be a healthy, active new you as well.  I will be praying for you over the next couple of days.  Peg

I think everyone goes into this surgery with some apprehension I know I did. My doctor's group makes you walk to the OR and thats when I was finally starting to calm down but I know it seemed like that walk was the absolute longest walk I ever took.

If you weren't nervous, you wouldn't be normal!!! You also probably would not be taking seriously what an enormous life change is in front of you. You will be in our prayers to do well, though. Good luck.

Twas the Morn of the surgery; And it's time to go. I have butterflies in my tummy; I wonder, does it show? My surgeon's the best; So I know things will be fine; So why are these doubts; In the back of my mind? I had to say good-bye; To friends so dear. My sugar, my carbs; My fats, my (root ) beer. A brand new life; Is waiting I know. But food was my best friend; And now it must go. Today is the start; Of finding the healthy me. So I'll shove out the jitters; And let the surgery be. Welcome to the losing side! It's a wonderful and interesting journey! Can't wait to hear about all your 'wow's'! Sherri
