Hot chocolate
Missy,
Thank you. That pic was taken at the St. V's party so it's pretty recent.
Things are pretty much the same right now. I've been wanting the surgeons to move up the next surgery from mid-January to before Jan. 1st. So far, no luck but I see Dr. Gupta next Monday, so we'll see. I haven't been feeling too bad, but do tire out pretty quick. I just have no energy at all compared to my 'norm'. I haven't been in any pain so I thank God for that. Now & then my tummy will act up and I'll need to take a vicodin but if you saw my tummy, you'd be as amazed as I am that there really isn't any pain to speak of. I do get aggrevated with this darn wound-vac but it's suppose to help with the healing process so that is what I try to keep in mind.
All in all, I'm not doing too bad right now.

I thought I would pass on my new best friend -- Matrix Chocolate made into hot chocolate. Each scoop has 23 g of protein. I am trying to boost my protein level due to hair issues. I bought my Matrix Chocolate at BariatricEating.com but you may be able to find it locally. It really is good tasting especially if you add just a tad of Vanilla Micellar Milk.
To make without lumps -- Add 1 scoop Matrix Chocolate to mug and blend with enough cold water to form a paste. Then add hot - not boiling - water to the paste and stir. No lumps or clumps. I then add just a tad bit of Vanilla Mice Milk or a small squirt of RediWhip. I actually like it better than SF Swiss Miss plus you have at least 23 gm of protein -- even more with the Mice Milk. Adding a little bit of SF Davinci Peppermint syrup isn't bad either!
Enjoy!
Peg
