Good Morning all!!!  I am surprised that there hadn't been a thread started already. Of course, it is rainy, and everyone is probably  sleeping in from all the festivities yesterday. Hope everyone had a blast. I finally got my car fixed about 2 yesterday afternoon. I was so depressed that I didn't get to come. I do agree tho, God must have planned for me to NOT make that long trip to visit everyone. He always has a hand in knowing what is right for me. It is pouring rain here this morning. At least it isn't freezing rain this time.  I have to clean the house this afternoon. Not much more after that tho. Tomorrow is my next clearance drs visit. I don't know which one it is. I think it is my hemotologist visit, but I may be wrong.  Oh well, I will get that one out of the way next, and then it will only be 2 clearances left......less than 3 weeks to go!!! 19 days and I am reborn!!! I can't wait! I have been busy, but I need to update my blogs.  I will ttyl! Gonna go write now!

I have just uploaded a bunch of pictures. Some of the party last weekend, and then the rest are of me. My new haircut is AWESOME!!! I need to readjust the size and make it into an avatar! I just love it! Enjoy the pictures!

Good Sunday morning, It's raining ice here in Northern Indianapolis.  Shoot, I never did get a chance to cover up my tulip beds.  This is the first year I planted a flower bed (I am so NOT a green thumb) but we have a new patio so I thought I'd be domestic.  Last month I made a little bed of tulip and crocus bulbs.  I'd heard that you should cover it with straw or pine boughs before winter to help keep frost off.  I have the pine boughs, but the snow hit the day after my surgery, and hasn't let up since.  Anyone with gardening experience out there?  Should I put the pine branches on top of the 2-3 inches of snow now, or try to clear off the snow first?  Does it even matter?  This is my last day home before returning to work.  Next week I work just half-days, then it's back to 60 hours/week.  My biggest challenge will be having time for a healthy, band-appropriate lunch.  Half the days I don't have time for any lunch, and the other half we have catered lunch brought in and I just grab that.  I have to make sure i have healthy, quick options available.  Thankfully, we have a fridge and microwave in the break room.  LaChelle,  I love your new hair cut!  It's cute, and will be so easy to ake care of.  Good luck on your remaining clearances.  What a new year you're going to have! Take care everyone, and be careful out there in this slippery weather. Jessica

Good morning everyone! It's such a rainy gloomy day here in Indy. We may run over to Burlington's today. I don't know...still not sure if I'm up to a shopping tri*****t. I need to get some clothes for the grandkids and then I'm all done with my shopping for them. Maybe I'll just stay home and try to wrap everything else and get it out of the way...lol.  LaChelle..if you had came yesterday, we would not have known what you looked like at all! Thank you for putting your new pics out! LOL! Your new cut looks great. I love keeping my hair sassy & short. You know...if you find yourself coming this way for anything before the clothing exchange, let us know. I'm sure some of us would be able to meet you for lunch/dinner somewhere!  Jessica...I wouldn't consider myself a 'green thumb' but I have tulips that my MIL planted years ago. I never cover them and they just keep popping up year after year. I've tried moving them as she had put them along the sidewalk in front of the house...where no bed is...and the guy who cuts our lawn HATES them there. But...no matter how many bulbs I move each year, more pop up in the same place! So...I would have to say that whatever variety she planted are VERY hardy! I also know a guy in Clinton whose whole front yard was covered each spring with crocus. I can guarantee you that this elderly man did NO lawn prep in the spring or fall! He had to have been about 90. If you really wanted to cover your bulbs though, I'd say to go ahead and do it over the snow and not worry about moving it. Snow is actually a good insulator and it is the cold that kills plants, not the wet. Well..you all have a really good day today! Sherri

Happy Sunday!! Hope everyone is doing ok. LaChelle - I love the new cut! It looks awesome.. I'm still feeling pretty ick!!! Nyquil has been my best friend the past couple days. Soo I tried to have the same lunch that I made for Rich because it has 15 g of protein and all that fun stuff(Tortelini or how ever you spell it) I figured they're pretty small so I'll have 4-5 pieces (it was 1/4 of a cup). I've had a bite of pasta here and there since I was released to do so but it's always been Whole grain wheat (Barilla plus or dreamfields). This is making me feel soo blah! It doesn't feel stuck necessarily but like it's just heavy and just sitting there very uncomfortable. It feels like it is trying to come back up but it's not making me heave or anything yet. I'm hoping it'll just finish the way through because my throat is already sore and I don't want to get sick. I think I've learned my lesson and I won't be doing that for a loooooooooooooong time if ever again. Anyways, church was AWESOME this morning!! It was a great sermon! This weather is just icky hehe. It's driving me nuts and I'm all kinds of achy tooo. I hope you all are doing okay!! The pics from the ornament exchange look like you all had a blast! I wish we could have been there. Depending on the weather we will be up there for the clothing exchange next month though.
