OMG only 4 days to go!!!

You all were right, time has flown and now I have 4 days before surgery!!!  I can't beleive it.  I don't have vitamins bought, bag packed, nothing yet.  But I wll get it done tomorrow, that's my plan.   I am a little nervous.  It comes and goes.  I have a few of those "I can probably do this without surgery" thought.   But I know I can't, or I would have, lol..... And I am a little nervous about complications.  But I look for everything to be fine. My oldest daughter had surgery on the 5th on her knee.  So she is having a hard time getting around still, and has needed me to help her quite a bit.  SO I am worried that she will still need too much help when I have my surgery and then what will she do.  So that has been on my mind alot.  My husband is really great to help when he can, but he works second shift so it's not too easy for him to help with the kids.  I am thinking I may have to have my mom come over and help her, and maybe me too.  I may end up being a big ole wimp, hehe. Anyway I am just so anxious to start my journey to a better life.  Thanks for sharing my happiness with me and supporting me.

WOW your day is fast approaching!!! I can't wait to hear how your doing. Do you have someone here to report on how you are?

I'm so excited for you!  I too, had about 2 minutes of doubt the day of surgery (maybe I should go back to weigh****chers again).  But it passed, and surgery was a breeze.  They'll take great care of you, and before you know it you'll be on the losers bench.

Thanks Jessica.  I think having a very supportive husband and family is really helping me keep those feelings to a minimum.  Also from reading on here that it's only normal to think and feel that way.  That helps lots too, knowing that I'm not just crazy, hehe.

You don't have to lol just some people do have a phone number of some people here to contact or have their loved ones post and update us. Either way we'll be eager to hear!!

I totally sympathize with you!!! My date is also on the 12th, and today I've been running around trying to get my apartment in order and get organized...Lucky for you that you have some support...Im all alone in this(family isnt close by) but I'm blessed to have some awesome co-workers and friends who've said their going to help out...so Im just anxious for Wednesday to get here already!! Best of luck to you too!!  I did all my home organizing friday.  My mom helped so it wasn't too hard.  It sure was a mess though, lol. I'm sorry that you do not have any family close, I sure am blessed to have mine near.  But it is good that you have friends to help you. I guess we will both be on pins and needles till Wed. 

Misty, you are in my thoughts and prayers as you embarke on this new life you have worked so hard to get to.  Good luck with your surgery, and yes, please have someone update us on your progress and how your surgery goes!!
