post Christmas party

I had a wonderful time as well. Boy was I wiped out last night though! I don't know what zapped me more..the 'outing' or the cooking...LOL! But I wouldn't have changed either one! I so enjoyed doing both! It made me feel 'normal'...and I don't get to enjoy that feeling very often these days. Wow..those pics of me were scary! Honest people, I did feel pretty good regardless of what those pics Jim took may lead you to believe! LOL!! Oh..the 'Cheerio' lady is Amanda...ChrsKat or something like that. She drove all the way here from Terre Haute and it was terrific meeting her! I have the recipes for the cheesecake/peanut butter cheesecake puffs and the steak appetizers on my profile now. I didn't put the sushi rolls. Shoot..just use ham or cheese, spread with cream cheese, put a slice of veggie...seedless cucumber or red/yellow/orange pepper...in the center, roll it up (with seran wrap) and chill, slice. Wa-la. There, now you got all of them...lol. Angie...WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU???? I missed you hon! I was really looking forward to be able to see you again. Floyd & Brenda...you two are just so terrific. I think the man upstairs knew exactly what he was doing when he guided you to Indianapolis. I feel like we are so blessed to have you as part of our group. I really loved your plaque that you had on your TV...Friends are chosen family. That could not say any better how I feel about you, and about those here on this board. huggs! Sherri

What a day!!!  I had an absolute ball.  It was so wonderful to share our home with all of you.  I can't think of a better way to start this Christmas Season than an afternoon of fun and laughter with so many of our friends.  I'm sorry so many had to cancel at the last minute but we were all thinking of you. Hope thos that got sick are better soon so you can enjoy the upcoming Holidays. I want to thank Sherri for the beautiful table centerpiece. Nothing like fresh flowers and Christmas greenery to make everything look beautiful. I'm sorry I got so busy I forgot to light the candles. Thank you for the lovely ornaments that Floyd and I received.  They are already on our tree and will be a great reminder of our first ornament exchange for years to come. Sam...Thanks for the great hostess gift.  The Santa plate is so cute and perfect for me. It's all washed and I already have plans for using it next week. The towels will be lovely in my kitchen too. Sherri and Bill..I'm so glad you were able to make it. Thanks for sticking around and chatting. We love spending time with you both and we will see you again before the Holidays are over.  Hope we didn't wear you out too much.  Needless to say we slept good last night.   Sherri and Ellen..Thank you so much for the Smores ornaments. They just couldn't be a more perfect reminder of the great time we had on our camping trip with all of you. Not to mention they are the cutest little things! We really love them. I had to rearrange the tree a little so they would fit in where I hang my favorites.  Ellen we really missed you.  WE MUST get together and spend some time with you and Dana before Christmas. Again - THANK YOU to everyone who came and made the day so wonderful for Floyd and me.  We look forward to seeing you and those that couldn't make it yesterday   again real soon.  If not before, then at the January clothing exchange. Thanks to Brenda and Floyd for sharing their home and friendship with us all. I had a FUN time and it was great to meet those of y'all I hadn't met before as well as seeing y'all that I met for the first time at the St. V's Party. There was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much food...I couldn't believe the spread!  thanks for sharing the pictures and LaChelle, Jen, and Misty....sorry to have missed you...I was so looking forward to meeting y'all! (well I have alredy met Misty...would have been nice to see her again!)
