Need new food ideas
I have become a mexican cooking fan. I use ground turkey from walmart and mix with taco seasoning and cheese. I can eat the small corn tortilla at 8 months out so can use them now for baked taco casseroles.
2 Chronicles 16:9
For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. Herein thou has done foolishly: therefore from henceforth thou shalt have wars.

Makes 4 servings. Per serving: 264 cal; 26g protien; 11 g tot fat; 5g carb; 0g fiber; 0g sugar; 325 sodium. It was really easy to make. I actually have used quite a few from Susan Marie's website bariatric eating. http://www.bariatriceating.com/bafhe.html The forums have a lot of reciepes too. They have girls that will even help you convert a not so friendly reciepe to a more friendly one if you need that help. I'm more of a lurker on there lol just cuz i want stuff to eat!! I made a meatball stew from there last night. It was pretty good too. Hope that helps you some. I know it gets sooooo boring eating the same ol things all the time.

Jenny,
This is so easy and really yummy. I made a bunch up and froze it in the snack size bags to bring to work for lunches. Here's the recipe.
1 package Bear Creek Minestroni Soup mix, 2 lbs 97% FF ground turkey breast, 1 can black beans (rinsed), 1 can black eyed peas (rinsed), 3 beef bullion cubes.
I fix the soup like it says on the package. I brown the turkey then add the drained beans and peas to it until it's all warm. Add the meat/beans to the soup. Drop in the bullion cubes. Bring to rolling boil. Turn off heat, cover and let stand for an hour. When you reheat it, all of the juice will be nearly gone. I pick out the pasta and just eat the meat and veggies. The seasoning from the soup mix makes it all really yummy! This is my favorite thing I've found so far. It goes down really well and doesn't make me sick.
Hope you like it!
