Surgery coming up--will be cut off from online support--any ideas?

My surgery is coming up on the 18th and my mom brought up a good point last night--I will basically be cut off from online support for at least two weeks following surgery.  Although I don't "say" a lot on here, I do read it everyday and get a lot of support from it.  Any ideas on ways to have support while I am "offline"?

I take it that you usually get online at work....?? Libraries usually have pc's that people can get online with, once you feel up to going that is.  Sherri

Well for me 1 week after surgery was soon enough to get back on a PC.  I was just uncomfortable enough to be able to sit and read a monitor.  The second week was not a lot better so you may not even miss it for a short time.  As Sherri said maybe if a library is close a short walk to get on line would be beneficial. You could look on the directory and get my phone number and give me a call or pm me your number and I'll give you a call :) Get peoples numbers and stuff and maybe do it that way??
