Emails...& Secret Pals

Everyone...   I had to divide the addys in the Hoosier directory up into 6 groups in order for my email to not think I'm sending out spam. Because of some people not receiving their invitation to join the Secret Pal Elfster, I sent out a test to each group and asked for each person to reply to it so I would know that you got it. So far, I have recieved at least one response from each group except group 5. This leads me to believe that the problem is not with my email program.   Those who did not receive the invite, when I checked the addy in my address book, it was entered correctly. Since I don't believe the problem is with my email program and/or the 'grouping' feature, I'd like to ask each of you to check your spam settings. If they are set too tightly, anyone's emal who is not in your address book, will automatically be deleted and counted as spam. If you prefer to keep your settings as they are and just add the 'allowable' addys to your address book, please check on the directory for my addy and add it to your address book. After you do this, send me an email and I'll resend you the Elfster invitation link. If you are on the directory, you should have recieved an email.   Thanks! The Hoosier Losers Directory should be in everyone's mailbox tonight.  This is the last update for this year, as I only update it once a month.  There's quite afew people I'm adding this month.  If you want to get on this one, you only have until noon today.  Please send me a personal as I can't get my emails from work and the work email isn't working today. IT actually went!! I am having another issue now... My computer wont load the site to put my secret pal in... I am driving myself nuts... so I can only imagine how much I am driving you nuts.... Well, you have a good day and thanks for working with me through the great yahoo issues!!

Since you were having problems getting to the site, I went ahead and 'accepted' the invitation on your behalf (the organizer can do that). If you didn't want to join, let me know and I can edit it. You should get an invite directly from Elfster. If/when you do, try that link to join.

what is the ho ho rating thing... I am only a 4 and was just wondering why... But I think I did it all after you emailed me... sorry to make you do so much work with it..  but I really really appreciate it!! Hey i have another question... I checked the FAQ for the HoHo rating. It won't let me copy/paste the explanation...so click on the FAQ tab..k? Anyway, it's something the program sets, not me. I was rated a 6 out of 10..I guess I'm rated higher because I'm the organizer maybe (?????). Sherri

 

I was just wondering what that was about... I just thought it was funny they rate someone the day the sign up.. Maybe it will mean something in a few weeks... O Well... But I have decided I HAVE to get a YMCA membership soon... I put a post asking people to join me... Maybe if we could get a group of people to workout then some of us will actually do it... Well, thanks again... I was just wondering about that stuff!

I'm glad you got the email.  It's very simple and quick to join. Keep in mind that the deadline is Dec. 22nd. With all the festivities approaching, that date is going to be here in time. Sherri
