I'm new here.

Hi everyone.  My name is Deb and I am going to have Lap Band surgery on December 26th at St Vincents Bariatric Center in Carmel with Dr. Caccuci.  I am excited and nervous..  Looking for support and new friends I can share with and learn from.  I have been on the Myspace Lap Band support group for a month now and they are all really nice people but it will be nice to meet people from home.  :-)

Well you came to the right place... Everyone on here is very nice and will try to help you as much as they can... I hope everyone is as wonderful to you as they have been to me... I didnt know they had a myspace support group... So you are already informing me of stuff I dont know...

You sure came to the right place! We have several Lap band losier sucess stories on here. And wow!!! what a Christmas present Life changeing weight loss surgery!! Welcome to the site and congrats on your upcoming surgery! That is awesome, and what a Christmas present to yourself. I'm sure you will do great. As others have said, this is a wonderful site with many ver knowledgeable people that can help with just about any question, so feel free to ask anything! Let me tell you from persoanl experiecne, there is never a dumb question. :) I am 11 1/2 weeks out from RYN and down 50 lbs today!! Kepp us updated and again, welcome. Julie
