Happy December to everyone!!!  Just think, one week from today, many of us will be meeting for the ornament exchange. I am still looking forward to going,  I just hope I have the $$$ for gas in the car now. LOL   It is Saturday morning and I am up way too early, but I have to be at work at 9am. Its my Friday, and I have lots of  Vacuuming Dusting Mopping Cleaning The Toilet Sweeping to get done tonight and in the morning before church for the spaghetti supper.  Apparently it has grown even more..... Shocked ......we are looking at about 50 people planning on attending! LOL!!!  As long as they eat in shifts and standing up, sitting on the floor, sitting outside in the rain, and in their cars, we will be ok! ROTFL  Its gonna be ok tho, because they all won't be here at the same time!  It would be fine with me too if they were tho.......they are all going thru this with me, so why not share it all with them! I have been thinking of what I should write in my "letters" to my family and friends..........you know the ones.....the ones NOONE wants to get after surgery.  At Desk  I have tons of letters to write, but just don't want to.  I will get them done, I promise.   I got almost all of my package of papers filled out, Paper Work  but I have just a couple more pages to get done, then I need to make copies of them and send them off.  I have filled out 3 sets already, and made two copies of each already.... Exploding Copier ...one for me to keep and one to give to my pcp.  I guess I was overdoing it to a certain extent, but it is better to be safe than sorry. Time to hop in the shower. Have a wonderful day and weekend, Weekend 1  since I may not be on until late tomorrow night.   Pasta I will eat a bite of spaghetti for everyone!! LOL
At Goal! 165 pounds gone forever! Thank you Lord!

Good morning everyone!

Boy, where did yesterday go??? I'd been having problems with morning nausea and yesterday, it wanted to extend into the whole day. I laid down around noon and didn't wake up until 6 pm!! And that was after me sleeping great Thursday night. Since I missed my ticture of opium doses, I woke up to intestinal spasms. Oh joy..I hadn't had any of them for almost a week. I guess I know that is one drug I can't do without just yet, huh? I thought for sure I'd have problems sleeping last night, but nope, slept great! I guess my body just really needed that extra shut eye. So..I'm sipping on my AchievOne and hoping my tummy behaves itself today. I was able to get in about 8 oz of chicken broth and some fat-free cottage cheese w/sf fruit last night so hopefully whatever was up with the nausea is gone now.  Other than needing to take a run to Walgreens today (Bill has a script & I have to get my coumadin refilled), we don't have alot planned today. We were going to do that yesterday..but I was kinda out of it. Oh..I have to hem Tiffany's pants for Tuesday. She tried them on and they were about 6-8" too long on her. I told her they needed hemmed and she had that deer in the headlike look and mumbled 'I don't know how to do that'. So...here I am doing it. Then last night Rod made a comment that he had a pair of pants that he can't wear because the button came off. I asked him if they had the button and he said yes but none of them knew how to get it back on!!! We are NOT talking about 10 yr olders here...Tiff is 26 and Rod & Shelly is 31..and NONE of them know how to sew on a button!!! What has our generation done to the next one when they don't even know how to sew on a button or hem their pants???? Guess who will be giving lessons to them on simple sewing??  I ordered some more AchievOne yesterday. They have it on sale for 4 cases for $100. It's usually $28/case. I still have 7 cases but sometimes it can take so long to get it in that I thought I better get it while it's on sale. No word about the plastic bottles yet and the s&h charges I was charges let me know it'll still be in the glass bottles. Anyway...for those who are addicted to it like I am, now would be a good time to get you some. I also ordered some BBQ pork rinds, protein chips, and calcium citrite chews. Ellen told me about the calcium there..her doc recommends them...and since I can't find the Citrical's anymore, I thought I'd give them a try. LaChelle...I'm looking forward to meeting you next Saturday. I hope you all enjoy your spaghetti dinner. It's terrific that you have such wonderful support there! You all have a terrific day! I remember as a kid when my pants would rip and everyone would say have your mom fix them for you... I used to look at them and say My mom cant do that I take all my clothes to Grandma!! I at least know a little bit like how to put a button on, Not much, but I can see myself learning the rest! So, yeah if something needs fixed I still call Grandma or just let her see it and she takes it home and fixes it... Gotta love my Grandma she is the best!

My mom taught me how to sew and do laundry when I was in Jr. High school.  I cant imagine not knowing how to do those simple things.  Now my husband wants me to sew up holes in his socks...but I just pitch them and buy him a new pack...those arent worth my time...LOL.

Whether or not you write it or not is up to you! People write them to the people they care about and all that stuff. If you have a spouse, kids, parents.. Etc
