Ornament exchange

Hey everybody, I am doing great. I survived thanksgiving and lost another 2 pounds. Yeah! Hope evrybody had a great holiday as well. I was able to get Most of my Christmas done, so now I can enjoy the Holidays!!!!

   Can I get some info. on the ornament exchange...and the secret buddy programs. I emailed info but I don't really know about the Who, What,where's of the whole thing.Can somebody post something again. I will try to go back and find it in the archives. Thanks Shanna

Shanna, Check back posts from Floyd (or drop him an email) for info on the Ornament Exchange. As for the secret buddy, I've handled it in the past. Floyd let me know about a site that would take alot of the work out of it for me so I believe we're going to be checking into it. We'll be posting info about it after we have an opportunity to get it set up and let people know what we need them to do in order to be included in it. We will try to have it set up within the next few weeks so that everyone will have their 2008 names emailed to them before Christmas. The first step though would be to make sure you're included in the Hoosier Directory that Floyd has put together (I didn't see your name on the November update).  That directory will be used to be sure people get emails about important activities (like the ornament exchange) just in case they miss a post on here. Drop Floyd a note and let him know that you're interested in being included in this. He has a post about what info is needed for the directory. All of our activities are for pre or post-ops, anywhere in Indiana. For all of them, your significant other is also welcome although for some, we may request that you get a sitter for children. This is more due to lack of space and the activity not being geared for children (like the hot tub party that my husband and I host in February). Again, we'll be depending heavily on the directory to get the word out. Sherri
