Many thanks for the encouraging words!
Many thanks to those that posted encouraging words for me. I will be making that appointment first thing in the morning for next week to get that fill and in the meantime I will focus on the proteins and healthy eating.
Peter really wants to go back to Boston area this week to see his family and friends before he can no longer travel, and I want to do this for him. We don't know when he will be able to see his nieces again because after the transplant it will be at least a year before he will be able to travel anywhere. With the cost of air fare coupled with the confinement and possiblility fo being around someone ill(Peter's imune system is very low and he can't fight infections as well as someone 'normal'), we will be driving (14hrs of me behind the wheel-yipee). It looks like this week is the only time we will have because of upcoming appointments, and he just got some blood and is feeling a little better, so we will take the opportunity while it is here.
We went to church this morning and I do feel a little better after realizing (once again) that God is really there for me and I know He will see us through this. I know that His hand is on our lives, ahve known this for years, but now I can feel Him there when I need Him the most.
Off to lunch with the boys before they all head back to their lives in other states.
Thanks again for the words of encouragement, I knew you would all understand!
God Bless,
Hope

Have a safe trip. Take many breaks. Are you going in a car or an RV? At least with an RV, you could pull over and get some rest along the way. Don't over-do it...k? I hope that Peter is able to enjoy the company of his family and you all have a good visit. We're here for you hon...keep in touch. Sherri
