I was diagnosed with PCOS and type II diabetes and sentenced to what I thought was an early grave. Today, 15 weeks post op,  my blood sugars are well within normal range and have been since 1 week post op. I have not had to take any medication for my blood sugars or anything!!! I'm soooooo thankful!! With the help of my tool I beat the disease that helped to contribute to my Dad's death!! Thank you GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Misty, I am so happy for you. I have not taken any meds for type 2 diabetes or HBP since 1 day after surgery. I feel so blessed, I was on 6 meds for both. My dad passed away with both. I am with you, Thank You GOD !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hugs and Blessings, Gail

Misty,

I too have pcos and type II diabetes.  We had to go through lots and lots of miscarriages and fertility treatments to have our beautiful daughter.  She is the survivor of quads.  She's also spoiled rotten because of it. My diabetes has all but disappeared since my surgery.  I had a hysterectomy two years ago but my ovaries were left in.  Before my surgery, I was having some very bad hormonal problems and my doctor was considering putting me on estrogen.  We pcos gals have ovaries that don't want to work.  Since my surgery, ALL of my pcos symptoms have left as well.  I still have chin hairs but they aren't growing as aggressively.  Sex is no longer painful.  I don't have hot flashes or night sweats.  This surgery has been a God-send!   As someone who knows what you've gone through, I give you a hearty CONGRATS on your successes.  I'm guessing it's only going to get better for us! Blessings, Jacqui
