Had my pre-op tests today. Now i just have to wait for the date.

Hi I had my pre-op test today. Boy I'm I glad that's over. It wasn't as bad as I thought. I sure hope everything comes out alright. Now all I have to do is wait for my surgery date. 12-7-07. Wow I can't believe it. Terri

Terri, That's great!!! It's just a waiting game now....lol. I saw my surgeon today and then he took me up front to talk to the office mgr. She said that I couldn't have surgery until next year, as usual. I told her about the insurance approval and the appt. with the Psychiatrist from the bariatric center. She decided to look on her schedule and to her amazement...lol...I was penciled in for Dec. 17th. She had to get the paperwork and I have to get a referral from my PCP faxed to her......then she said that I will have my pre-op tests and see an internist once they have everything in their possession. So....yeahhhh!!! Finally!!!! It won't be too long and I'll be waiting just like you. LOL I know I will have a 4 hr. class to go to also.....nutrition class I think. Have you done something like that? Keep me posted on everything! Candy
