Tuesday...

Good morning everyone! Yesterday was such a busy day for me! It started off with the visiting nurse came & changed the wound-vac & drew blood (so I took a shower real quick before he got here...the only time I'm allowed to take a shower right now is right before the wound-vac is to be changed). Then I had a follow-up with Dr. Bergman. She thought that lump on my leg was fluid, but it had gone down significantly since I had made the appointment with her so I talked her out of draining it for now. She also isn't very convinced that I had any blood clots worth worrying over...so...it may be a little difficult for any of you to convince her to use Lovenox or anything for blood clot prevention for long-houred surgeries based on what happened to me. After that, we went to Kroger & i got to ride their scooter again...lol. After we got the groceries put away, we went to Los Ranchero's and I FINALLY had my Mexican food! I had been wanting their shrimp fahita's every since the day I got released from Seton! And I have plenty left over for today! I couldn't help myself. I bought a huge turkey yesterday. I'll pop 1/2 a breast in my roaster for Thanksgiving but the rest, I'll be slicing up and fleezing for other dishes. How can you pass up meat that is only $1.99/lb??? My tummy has been acting a little weird since yesterday so I doubt I'm online much today. It just may be a vicodin day. I think it's a little more swollen than it had been too. I'm hoping it's just gas but I didn't have much in the way of BM's yesterday (and what little I had was diarhea) so maybe I'm just full of it..lol. That would account for the few pound increase on the scales too.  You all have a fantastic day! Sherri

Sherri, You're such a trooper. I was going to call you yesterday, but in between my appointments, I just never got a chance. I was going to see if you wanted to go to lunch. Sorry! It would have been good to get to see you. 

Hi There my friends,   I have missed you all so much- just been so busy with everything my tail is spinning-heee~hee!!  I am on here for a few minutes before heading out to get the babies special formula. They are doing so well~Bethany is 5#13oz. and Adien is 6#11oz. now- at 5 weeks. This is what they probably would have weighed if they'd gone full term. They are both  are staying up longer & I got my first smiles yesturday!!! They are such a blessing, and alot of work!! Amy has hardly time to drink a cup of coffee or get a shower, so I go down every day to help. She did great while I was gone to Tennessee last week for 4 days. Of course Dana went down and helped out- NO diapers for him though!! I had a wonderful time with all the women of the Womens Ministry last week at the siminars. All the traveling was hard on my back and body though- thankfully I am in my own bed again!! I had a rough time with foods- either too spicy for me or the wrong things. There was alot of things I "experimented" with- and paid for later. One more lesson in the fact that even though I am over 2 yrs. out I am still one bite away from overeating or wrong choises.Nashville Tenn. was all decorated for Christmas & we stayed right across from Opryland--boy was it beautiful! Traveling with 11 other women was exhasting and so much fun!!! Sherri- it was great to talk to you,and I hope you are taking it easy today. I know it is hard when you are cooped up all the time not to overdo- just rest and get stronger.  I can't wait to see you at the ornament exchange. Have a great day everyone!! (((BIG HUGS))) Ellen  

Good afternoon all. Busy day here......started out with a phone call from work....they were having to take my DH to the hospital. Jimmy has severe migraines and he had an attack at work, so they had to have him taken in and sedate him........it wasn't pretty! This afternoon I have to be at the school again for Molly's brownies meeting! At leasat it happens on my days off. Very tired, and needing lots of sleep, but I can't for now. Have a great day all.
