I got my date

Congratulations on your date. You are almost there.
To answer your questions:
1. The day before my surgery I could eat anything I wanted for breakfast, then it was full liquids for lunch, such as cream soups, pudding, icecream, yogurt, etc., then supper was clear liquids such as broth, jello, etc, It was unlimited on the amounts and then nothing to eat or drink after midnight. If you take medication, they may or may not let you take it with a sip of water the morning of your surgery. They will tell you this at your nut class.
2. My surgery was at 3pm and I had to be there at 12:30 pm.
Good luck!
Jenny
Oh boy! Oh boy! Oh boy! Jana, that's not far off at all! The time will fly by!
You'll learn about the meals at your NUT class but it has been explained pretty well in these posts. My breakfast was a cheese omlette with one pancake on the side. I remember the NUT telling us not to eat a lot of meat for breakfast so I decided not to have any. My surgery was at 8:30 too and I had to be at St. Vs at 6:00. You'll get paperwork in the mail that gives you all that info. CONGRATS! Jacqui
