My appointment today.. endoscopy # 4 tomorrow

Sooo I had my appointment today, they didn't do my GTUBE button because they didn't have the right size in but they did fit me for it and gave me a new tube and sewed it in so I'm a little sore. I'm down like 7 lbs since my last appointment 2 weeks ago but I stalled for a few days also. Dr C ordered an endoscopy for tomorrow. Dr Gupta will be doing it. I have a silly question for Sherri and all of you who've had repeat endoscopies, is it possible that my opening has closed up much in 3 weeks? I was just dialated on 10/30 and was stretched to 20 instead of the typical 15 mm and Dr C is checking for an ulcer or possible stricture again because I've not been able to get any food in orally without getting sick since last Thursday and fluids are even coming up sometimes. Overall I guess things went okay and I don't go back til they get my button in I guess or til January LOL whichever comes first.

Thanks, I just wasn't sure!!! I don't really feel the same as I did with the times I needed dialated but I just don't know anymore LOL

Hi Misty,  I had 2 in 1 week. So I guess they can close up soon. I have you in my prayers. Sorry about tube, those not so fun and but we know they are sooo needed sometimes. I only wish I had my gtube sooner.  Listen to Sherri , she so knows about endo's. Hugs and Blessings, Gail

Thanks y'all I had closed up some but not terribly bad (I was down to 12 mm from the 20 I was dialated to 3 weeks ago). I'm going back to bed though I'm sooooooo tired.
