question???

Hello friends,

I just wanted to check in....we have been on Bailey Island for the past week.  Ive had no access to internet....like I figured I would.  We did have QVC though so I was going thru total withdrawl. 

I had a great time.  We went hiking up and down the coast.  We had dinner in different harbors.  The fish was awesome.  I will miss the really good food. 

We are back on the Main land now.  We hit the mainland yesterday...in Maine.  We are going to spend Thanksgiving in Ohio at my parents and be home at the end of the week.  On the way home we will be going to New York and a few other hot spots.

Now to my question...does anyone know when we will be telling who our secret pal is and getting our new one for next yr....will this be done at the orniment exchange or at the Jan clothing exchange????   Please help me out with this info so I can make plans...need to know who I will be buying new years and christmas gifts for...my old pal or a new one?????

I would think that the Ornament Exchange would be a good time to share who yours was as well as drawing next year's name. I wouldn't make the change though until 1/1/08. Complete 2007 being the angel/pal for the person you had in 2007. If you or your person is unable to make it to the Ornament Exchange, drop them a line or card and let them know.

For those who want to participate in the Secret Pal..but will not be able to make it to the Ornament Exchange, please drop me a line and we'll be sure your name is in the hat..and we'll also have someone draw out a name for you & Floyd or I will let you know via email who you will be the secret pal for in 2008. A reminder, the secret pal is expected to remember their person at least once a month. Drop them an ecard, card, etc. Just a little something to say 'I care'. If you cannot commit to do that, please don't ask to participate. It would not be fair to the name you would have drawn.  I do have an email account set up and an ecard account paid for so that you can do that incognito. I will resend that information out to those who are participating at the beginning of the year. Sherri

I will not be able to make the ornament exchange this year although I would love to be able to go but I have to work.  I would like to do the secret pal next year also.  Thanks

so glad you are back in contact with the world. i am glad you are having fun on vacation . i know you and andy dont have a lot of time together so this has been great for the 2 of you . tell andy , we say hi. cant wait to see you at the exchange. vicki
