Pain meds

I have some prednisone for  tennis elbow. I havent taken it, I was prescribed it before my surgery, but with the meds after surgery my arm didnt bother me. Now it is killing me, would it be ok to start them now?? its for 5 days.

Call your SURGEON before starting it and get an OK from him. Steroids can hurt our pouch and I know this first hand because I've been on them 4 times since surgery for my Asthma and have needed Carafate each time to prevent ulcers. My surgeon allowed me to take them under that cir****tance that I make sure I'm protecting my pouch!! Soo definately call first.
