Vicki, I'm a fan of NyQuil myself...the cherry flavored one. It has never made me dump or anything but I do go straight to bed after taking it because it only takes about 5 minutes to make my eyes start to close. I hope you get to feeling better! Sherri

I hope you get to feeling better soon.

I am just getting over a bad cold.  It has been almost 2 weeks.  You might try some Robitussin.  I think they have that in diabetic form.

Me, I took Nyquil. It bothered my pouch right after I took it for about 3 minutes. I had a sick feeling in my pouch, but never threw up.  I dont think it is the best choice for us post-op's, but I took it anyways.

Dont forget to get plenty of fluids.

Jenny
