YEAH IT'S FRIDAY

Just wishing y'all a happy Friday and hope y'all have a great weekend. I find out later today if I'm gonna be a Grandma, from Randy & Elizabeth. Why aren't you in bed sweetie??? Congrats on the upcoming family increases! I love being a grandma (in my southern family, I'm 'Mamaw', not 'grandma'). I miss seeing them though. I haven't seen the 3 younger ones (19 months, 26 months, 3.5 yr) for ~6 weeks. We didn't think they'd be able to understand why Mamaw can't hold them right now. The oldest one (6yr), I haven't seen for ~3 weeks. I'm going to have to have Tiffany bring him over.

I took all the meds I was to take and the spasms kept up so I took 2 vicodin. I still have the spasms so I'm trying to wait them out. It didn't help when I tried to wait them out laying down so I gave up and came on the pc. I can tell right now that tomorrow will be a big nap day! They are slowing down some, so soon I hope. Good Friday morning all! It is a good day already. The girls got on the bus without fighting and being late, so that always makes it better!  I don't have to be at wor****il 11 am, so I have time to get a few things done around the house. Just another day in the Hoosier Hills!  I hope to hear something today from Dr. Shinas office as to an actual date. If they don't get the letter in today, it won't be in until Tuesday, since Monday is a holiday. Oh well, that is just one more day to wait.....I am used to it by now! hehe! Have a wonderful day!

Good morning...now that it is actually 'morning'! LOL! I did finally catch some zz's. I got started on the last Harry Potter book last night. I had bought it as soon as it came out but saved it for when I was off. Up till now, I didn't trust myself to comprehend too much at a time (in print) so it felt good to get started on it!

I am SO curious...what holiday is Monday??? I really didn't think the next one was until Thanksgiving.

I heard back from Dr. Gupta's office yesterday and the wound-vac has been ordered (portable!). It should be in before Monday and the visiting nurse will be putting it on and changing it every two days. As long as they are careful with the tape, it shouldn't hurt. It's a strange feeling when they start the vacuum up, but 'strange' I can handle..lol. Oh..a few days ago someone asked me to ut an updated pic up. My avatar is from this summer while we were at Jellystone Park in St. Louis. I know it's not the clearest shot. Anyway, until the swelling is gone in my tummy...and I can get my hair cut/colored, don't expect a new one...k? Let me start feeling/looking like 'me' and you betcha, I'll get a new one..k? Maybe I'll ask Brenda to take a few pics of me with my camera at the ornament exchange or something. Let's see if I get rid of the prego look by then. Is anyone from the eastside going to the St. Vincent party on the 4th that will have room and wouldn't mind picking up Bill & I? I haven't missed it yet but I know I won't be able to drive then (and of course, Bill can't drive, period). It all depends on when that surgery to close me up will be on if I'll even feel like going, but thought I'd ask just in case. Hope you all have a wonderful Friday. Shoot, what am I talking about??? Monday is Veterans Day. All the mail and post offices will be closed. :(

Monday is Veteran's Day. State employees will be off work  ! So will the kids here in Vigo County be off of school. November is a good month to state employees, as we get 4 days off (election day, Veteran's day, and 2 for Thanksgiving.) My husband always moans about me getting these holidays, but he gets 5 weeks of vacation a year, and I get 2.5, so I remind him of that!

 

WOOHOO It's friday!!

Hope everyone has a good weekend. I woke up this morning coughing and sneezing my head off. Not fun but it's probally just allergies, since I'm on antibiotics already. I did my first B12 injection today! It was cake (which I've done insulin in the past so I didn't think it'd be hard) but I was expecting it to burn or something but nope. Thats awesome. It was really neat too because the B12 was a lot cheaper then I had expected also, YAAY for cheap prescriptions LOL.  I'm in such a goofy mood don't mind me at all. Have fun y'all.
