Tuesday

Hi all, hope you are doing well. It's about 4:30am on Tuesday. The dogs got me up to go out. Well, I'd rather 'get up' than 'clean up' so that's okay. I had to get up at 5 this morning anyway, to be in Indy at 8am for an eye check up for my lasik that I had done. Well, today is election day. Hope you're all planning to get out there and vote today! It's so important. I'm going to vote when I get back from Indy today. I get the day off from work because of it being election day, so I have no excuse not to!

Good morning! I have a doctor's appointment this morning at 8:15 so my daughter is going to be here at 7 to bring us. I was worried last night that I might not wake up in time to clean up & get dressed. Not a problem..lol. I woke up at 1:30 and then again at 4:45. Even as slow as I am right now, I'll have plenty of time! My doc appt. is with my 'family' doctor, Deeya Brooks. She's up at St. Vincent. If anyone has a family doctor through St. Vincent other than her, PLEASE let me know who it is! I am so dissatisfied with her on so many levels for so many reasons. I really don't expect much to come out of this appointment this morning other than she'll be able to bill the insurance for an office visit. Even the visiting nurse 'off the record' recommended I find a new doctor..and that was after her only dealing with her one time. I know alot of you are also fans of St. V's so I'm hoping you are a fan of a particular doc as well. After the appt, if I feel up to it, I may go to Kroger with Tiffany (and if they have their electronic scooter working...I don't think I can walk all over the store). She offered to make me some soup...which I have been craving for about 2 weeks...but she wanted me to write down everything for her to put in it. It'd be easier for me to say 'this, this, that' since we're talking veggie soup...and there are alot of veggies I can't have right now. It would feel good to 'shop'...lol. We'll see how far my energy level goes. It may be to where after the trip to the doc's, I won't even be able to make it to the pharmacy so we'll have to wait and see. I really doubt if we make it to vote. It'll be the first time in years that we haven't. That again, will depend on my energy level. I agree with Linda...voting is very important and no, not just a privalege, but a responsability. So please, those who can and are registered, vote! Those who aren't registered, please do so before the next election! You all have a good day! Sherri

It is 7:30 am and I am at work.  Drinking my decaf coffee with splenda and FF, SF french vanilla creamer.  My precinct dont vote today.  I have voted every election since I was 18, unless like today my precinct dont vote. 

Sherri~~I hope you get your soup.  Veggie soup does sound good.  Dont overdo it!

Good Afternoon everyone!

I will be working on my grout today. I layed our kitchen floor a few weeks ago and some areas I haven't finished yet and some areas I didn't like how it turned out so I will be removing some and regrouting. But I love doing things around the house so not a burden for me.  So did we end up with some flurries last night/ this morning?  Robin
