Everything has been sent to insurance

 I finally got all my paperwork from my PCP.   I had to wait an extra week and a half to get a current endocrine panel before I could submit everything.
So, on Thursday, Nov. 1st, I faxed all my info to my insurance.  St. Vincents had alread submitted their paperwork after my psych consult last month.

Soooo, I called insurance today to check up on things and found out that it was submitted for review today!!!!  I am hoping that is a good thing.  My policy says they have 15 days after submission to make a decision, so I'm almost there.  I hope to God it gets approved this time! I hope that being in review already is a good sign.  Please keep your fingers crossed for me!! Oh, how long should I wait before I call and check on things again?  I want to call every day, but I don't want to tick them off either, hehe.

I would call first thing in the morning. When you know that there is someone there. Just say I know that my case is in reiview and I was just wondering if they had an answer for me or not?

Thanks Julie.  That's exactly what I was thinking of doing.  I am just so scared of making them mad, and then they deny me, or put off approval until the last minute.  I am just so excited to get this done because this time, I know for sure it is a coverd expense, all the other times I had exclusions.  ANd I made sure I had everything on the list they sent me. I just need this so bad and I am so scared of something going wrong with the approval.

CONGRATS I know the anxious feeling you have in your tummy right now.    I pray it all get covered and it is a GO GO GO with surgery!!!!  I got my fingers crossed! Always, ~Angie!

I understand totally what you are feeling...my papers went before the review board last Wednesday, so I am sitting on pins and needles waiting!  I am praying that you hear something soon!

Thank you for the support Angie, it means a lot to me. LaChelle, I wish you luck as well.  I'm glad to be here where there are others that know exaclty how I am feeling.  My family supports me, but they don't fully understand how important this is to me. I pray that we both hear good news very soon!!

Thanks Misty.  Well, since you called often and still got approved, I guess it doesn't really hurt anything.  And it may help to ease my mind some.
