pain in "breadbasket"??
For me, pain after I ate signified at stricture. Pain before eating that went away when I ate signified an ulcer. Contact your surgeon's office. They will probably want to do an endoscopy to see if it's a stricture. If it is, they'll dilate you back open & you'll be good to go. Don't wait too long as this can cause you to throw up not only food but liquid as well and cause dehydration.

Oh hon! I am over 3 yr post op and would hurt if I were to gulp! I can 'drink' as oppose to 'sip' now...but gulp? Nope. Slow down and enjoy the water. Your pouch will thank you for it.

It could be that you are full. Are you measuring your food? I got a pain in my chest if I ate too much or ate something that would swell in my pouch.

I can eat as much as I want...I just don't want much.
I'm ashamed of what I did for a Klondike bar...
