New to OH

Hello everyone.  I recently went to a support group meeting, and I heard about this website.  I have been reading posts, and think this is a great group of individual that I would love to talk to.   My name is Kim.  I am 32, happily married to Danny, and mommy of 2 (Joel 9 and Kara 7).  I am hopefully going to have surgery after the 1st of the year after I complete my 6 month diet plan with the doctor.  Dr. Inman will be my doctor.   I have Blue Cross Blue Shield through the Steel workers.  If anyone has this insurance, please let me know if they required anything other than a 6mo doctor and dietician supervised diet and psych eval.   Any other advise would be wonderful as well.  Thanks

Hello Kim Nice to see you on here.  I have BCBS through Vigo County and had no problem.  Just be sure your Dr. is documenting your diet and excercise program each month, I am Dawn Boyles mother.  She can tell you how to reach me.  Fell free to call anytime.  There is a different support meeting on Wednesday at 6:00 at the Union Hospital Landsbaum center.  I will be there.  Hope to see you there Deborah
