Its FRIDAY

Morning Hoosiers,

It sure was cold last night.  I hope it doesnt get this cold again for awhile.  I cant afford the heating oil at these prices.  I cant believe it but gas was   $3.15 for the cheap stuff this morning on my way to work.  I only paid 2.78 to fill up on Wed.  Sounds like we are getting screwed somemore. 

I have to work all weekend so I guess today is the last day I'll be going home to Knightstown.  I think the rest of the weekend I will just stay at the house in Richmond....and save money on my gas.

Hi Pamela, Yup, I saw it jumped to $3.15 in Terre Haute last night, too. What a rip-off. It will go up 30 cents in a day, and come down one penny at a time. Mike (my dh) says now he knows how this surgery works. I have all these trips to Indy, so I can't afford to eat! Today I'm supposed to go to training in Greenwood, but I don't feel good, so I'm thinking I'm going to stay here, and try to get into the doctor. It's a shame, it sounded like good training.  I am still feeling kind of blue today. I just feel invisible to everyone around me for some reason. Like I could just be gone, and it wouldn't make a difference. I don't know how to explain it.  Well, I've got to head out for now,

Is it time to go back to bed yet???  Nope, I haven't even gotten the girls on the bus yet for school! Oh well, I was dreaming again about a nice warm bed! LOL  I will be back in there tho once the gals get going.  I just can't seem to shake this cold and chest congestion that I have.  I have been running a fever with it as well, so I really don't feel well at all.   Hope everyone has a wonderful day today! Enjoy your weekend as well! I have to work........go figure! Hahah....I hope that soon enough I get a phone call, and get ready to have a FEW weeks off! I know it, wishful thinking again!  I may just call the insurance company again this morning to see what is going on! If I hear anything, I will let you all know! Have a wonderful day!

TGIF!  Isnt it funny how you just get back to work after surgery and I am ready to be off again.  I guess finally getting back in the swing of things and worn out from the surgery is catching up with me now.  Plus I have been sick for a few days.  Congestion, sore throat, coughing, runny nose.   I take Nyquil at night, but it hurts my stomach and take a cold pill during the day.  Hopefully over the weekend I will be better.  Have a good weekend everyone.

Hang in there Linda....I used to go through those feelings and it is very hard.  It will get better.  We are all here for you.

I got great news from my doc yesterday. I'm getting released today or tomorrow. He confirmed that the GI is to see me today. It depends on what time he shows up & what he says on which day I'll be released. I am SO ready to go home! In the morning will mark 4 weeks that I've been in the hospital. Don't worry, I get out, I will be posting as soon as I get home! You all have a good Friday...k? Sherri

Good morning everyone!  I'm so glad it is Friday, this has been the longest week.  Last night we babysat for our god child (6 mo old) It is nice to have a baby around.  Especially when mom and dod come back to take them home.  We have no grand kids yet so we never turn down the chance to watch David if mom and dad want some time out. His grandparents don't live near here so we are kind of surrogate grandparents also.  Tonight I have to clean house because I'm having a Stampin up party (for cards and scrapbook) in the morning at 10:00.  I was hoping to have 4 or 5 show up but I've had 10 RSVP for this one.  Now I have to make room so everyone has a seat!  Sherri I'm hope you are at home when you read this.  You sure have had a rough time. I hope it is all up hill from here. It just wasn't the same on here without your posts. You have been missed. Linda I hope you are feeling better soon also.  I think we all get those days when we feel like if we weren't around that no one would miss us.  But you know it just isn't true.  Most people get so wrapped up in their own lives they forget to pay attention to and appreciate the ones they love the most.  I think you are terrific and you look fabulous.  You should be very proud of your accomplishments.  I know how hard it is to have kids with problems.  You want to fix things for them and you can't.  My son is Type I diabetic since the age of 11. He is 21 now.  He doesn't check his sugar or eat like he should.  He still lives at home but is talking of moving out.  I would like to see him move out but it terrifies me at the same time.  I so affaid he will go into shock and no one will be there.   Well I've got to go, I'm at work and starting to get busy.  You all have a wonderful weekend!
