I hated missing the Covered Bridge Festival this year but I hate it even more that I'm missing Halloween. It's the first (and hopefully ONLY) Halloween of the grandkids that I'm not there with them for. I think Tiff is going to try to send me pics of them on our cell phones. The doc has added another med for the diarea and the dietician wants me to eliminate all fresh veggies from my diet (no salads). It had helped so far though. Yeah! I'm waiting for the wound-vac woman to come. We are going to try it with just vicodin instead of the stronger pain meds. Hopefully, I can get a date from her on when she is going to go to just a dressing for wound care. I'll be able to go home soon after that date (& Dr. Gupta will be able to close me up!). Needless to say, I am ready to go home! I think my diarea will improve just by that too when I am eating food prepared the bariatric friendly way! Would you guys believe they managed to burn the cheese inside of my omlet this morning??? Not the egg, but the cheese??? nope, didn't eat much of it. I got to go outside for awhile with PT. It was a little chilly & windy but so nice to be able to be out! We practiced going up & down stairs. I don't think Bill & I will have any problem with our one little stair in front of our house.
