No room in Indy

So has everyone booked up all the hotels in the area this weekend for the clothing exchange or what?  It took me forever to find a room even remotely near Carmel!  We finally found a room at the Westin in downtown Indy.  Guess Troy will be staying in the lap of luxury while I'm in the hospital!  He sleeps with a CPAP so he doesn't want to stay in my room with me.  I think it's better for him to get away and get some real food too.

Troy can't take off from work on Thursday so we'll be heading to Indy after he gets home.  That's 6:00 our time (7:00 Indy time).  It'll make my meals easier anyway.  Daddy is taking me out for my last "big breakfast" Thursday morning. I'm really getting excited!  I went shopping Saturday and got all my vitamins and stuff.  I'm trying to figure out what all to bring with me.

Just a few more days and I'll be on the other side!  WHOO HOOO!!!!! Smooches, Jacqui

Jacqui, Sounds like you're prepared!  Don't bring much...you'll be in the hospital gown the whole time.  Do bring your own soap, shampoo etc.  They let me take a shower the day after my surgery.  Also, remember when they told us to bring shoes....I wore the slipper socks they put on you before surgery to walk around in.  I'm so glad your day is almost here! Robin
I always said "pigs would fly" before they approved my surgery.  Guess what??? The pigs are flying!!!!

Don't forget your lip balm.  I never go anywhere without some lotion too.

I can eat as much as I want...I just don't want much.
I'm ashamed of what I did for a Klondike bar...

Good luck on your big day. It will go by so fast. But then again you will sleep through most of it,  and that's not all bad!  By all means don't forget the lip balm. I found that really important too. You get so dry and I still do. My lips are always dry.

It's not what you gather, but what you scatter
that tells what kind of life you have lived.

http://www.indystar.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20071023/ LOCAL/71023026 Why the hotels are busy it is FFA convention time.  Your husband will have fun downtown.

2 Chronicles 16:9
For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. Herein thou has done foolishly: therefore from henceforth thou shalt have wars.

Wow!  Thanks for the info.  I've emailed the article to my hubby so he'll be ready for the street closures.  Nothing like 55,000 future farmers in Indianapolis!  It'll feel like home.
