My first dr. visit!!!
I went to my first doctors visit since the surgery and had great news. I got to start pureed food ( I have been craving mashed potatoes! ) and Holly, Dr. Stanish's assistant told me to go home and have mashed potatoes. I told her that she is my new best friend. lol Then I found out that I have lost 27 pounds. I never would have thought that it would be that much. The doctor told me that when someone loses so much so fast that I would probably hit a platue ( that is spelled wrong! ) because most of that is water weight. I figure that is me since I have cardiomyopathy and CHF but that is alright with me. I am taking the 27 and running like I've never run before. I am on nothing for the diabetes, and off about 8 meds since I've had the surgery. I am feeling so good I just can't beleive it. I am feeling so good and have been out and about since the weather is nice. I haven't felt this good in a long time. Can this be one of my first WOW moments? I am not sure since I haven't had one yet.
Does anyone have any good ideas on the pureed time? I have been eating - of course - my mashed potatoes, and some different soups but I am afraid to try some things. Can anyone offer things that they did for this part? I would appreciate any help on this.
Campbell's Chicken Verde soup was a hit for me. Sometimes Target will have it. It has peppers in it and creamy.
Great news on meds, mine followed the same path. Keep active and you will getting new clothes every 3 weeks.

2 Chronicles 16:9
For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. Herein thou has done foolishly: therefore from henceforth thou shalt have wars.
